Old radial menu

we need old radial menu gang =>
for me new one is uncomfortable

 

Change is different and scary…post like these are useless and provide no insight for positive development

 

The new one is a little hard to use. BUT Im getting use to it.
Same with obit camera

its not just that the old radial menu was objectively better
features were easily accessible now half the crap is buried under pointless menus upon menus

 

also another thing i wish come back is old menu (not the one from 0.3) i am saying about the 0.22 one it was well optimized and i prefer

 

This. I wouldn't mind the redesign (IMO it's a change for better), but virtually every option I used the radial menu for isn't there. Where clone vehicle. Where delete vehicle. Where relative cam light settings.

Almost lost hope with the shill comment above, then I saw your post. Shortly after when I realized those like him represent the majority of this "community" and sensible people like you represent a minority, I promptly lost all hope again.

 

A "shill"...oh brother. What skin do I have in the game? Am I friends with the developers? Did I invest in the company? People like you just parrot things and they end up losing their real meaning. And you sound way too emotionally invested, considering you're "losing hope" over a $20-25 video game

 

This has been the only thing I've played in the past year anyway since I don't care much about video games at this point and can no longer consider myself an elite gamer like you. I'd hop on it for 30 minutes to an hour and record cool replays while trying out new modded maps/cars. Can't even do that anymore. This was the last thing tethering me to this so called hobby, and now that the new devs(useless interns) keep making unnecessary changes without giving people options while meat riders like you voraciously defend them, it's about time to call it quits.

 

I’m gonna reply in a nice way. I play two different games and beam is one. My favorite thing in beam is tuning cars and running laps on track. My biggest issue is there isn’t enough vanilla tracks and not enough track/racing-focused vehicles/content. But I read the entire patch log and they’re constantly doing things and there’s a reason the game is still in development…cause it’s being developed and I understand that. In what other game do you have a completely new, ground up asset, next to one made 10 years ago? It’s hard to juggle the work load of coming up with new things, while updating or replacing the old. And they add or fix a lot of things the minority of people will notice or care about and sometimes in the process of updating, they break or impair things that you frequently use. Idk man, I guess I just appreciate real people showing real passion for what they’re making and a commitment to their consumer base even if they don’t always get it right the first time. Also, I’ve learned a lot of skills in life, but coding, 3D modeling, and game development in general…that’s way beyond me and I respect the work involved. So it’s fine to have criticism and I know the devs welcome it but make it constructive and let the devs make corrections.

 

why not lol? the new radial menu doesn't stop you from downloading mods does it? nothing is stopping you from going on beam and just record replays

 

I think cuz of old mod, old mod mades a lot of bugs
