    ======Version 3 Hotfix 5======
    DONT FORGET TO DELETE OLD VERSION AND DELETE CACHED MODELS IN 0.35\temp\vehicles\j58.

    SPECIAL THANKS
    Velocity: Suspension and handling advice. Tire config advice.
    DragoonSL: LM and Stock start up sounds (where ever they got it from)

    Engine and clutch behavior mimics turbo lag and a heavy clutch

    --BUGS--
    SOME THINGS ARE BY DESIGN AND ARE NOT BUGS (Steering wheel not aligned to the center of screen and the lack of the new halogen headlight design for example)
    Rather bad collision physics
    Things may be missing here and there or wonky(brake disks in some part selections are crooked when moving or the brake pads are not aligned to where they should be on the brake disk)
    Not all prop gauges work (will be fixed in V4)
    Many textures are not PBR and some have underlying wireframe UV still visible (will be fixed in V4)
    LM Chassis config in Career mode after you buy it will freeze game if you try to buy the only engine available for it (Whoops! For now, you will have to deal with saving up around 1,000,000 BeamBucks)
    Others I have missed (I am sure you autists will let me know o_O )

    It's the update I've been working on for the past 8 months or so. It took longer because back in February I made a mistake and the files were deleted. I had to start from scratch again.

    The public release (which broke with 0.35) was (0.32) V3 Hotfix 4 and didn't have the fixes and new things I listed. The download is too big for the forums by around 15MB, so I had to host it on my Mediafire account.

    The new update (V3 Hotfix 5) is significantly better and veterans of the old release will notice the difference (or they should, it handles and behaves completely different).

    I didn't get enough things added and overhauled to deserve a V4 prefix to the release (the public release broke, so I released the update as soon as I was happy with the handling). I just pushed out what I have done so far, which is above in the changelog and on the front page.

    Some feedback would be great. But I guess the lack thereof tells me it's really good. It's just nice to get positive feedback as well as constructive.

    I wasn't sure about the new sounds, but they seem to fit the car really well. It was a real pain getting them to work, due to me having to make half of them and mixing them from scratch without much documentation on mixing. Having to mix them by ear was time consuming.

    could you add openables and maybe higher quality lights (not smooth halogens bc ik that u feel they arent realistic) but just higher quality. in my opinion they arent too high quality but im not sure if you feel the same,but it would be nice to have.

    That is rather vague. I plan on trying to get the doors to open at some point (again no promises), but I just released because it was taking longer to get the entire list I wanted done for V4 and the previous release broke with the 0.35 update.

    Fixing the light textures and glow was already mentioned before. That would be under texture and PBR fix. "Just higher quality" is VERY vague, bro. They already are "high quality" and they work, so what do you mean they are not too high quality? The texture is a little whited out instead of off white/slightly orange because it is a placeholder texture. This is why I wanted to do a full release for V4 when all of this was ready, but the 0.35 update forced my hand and I needed to get the release out as is when the handling was fixed.

    So, it still has bugs present from last release and it needs the textures worked on. It is a MAJOR improvement over the previous release, but the complaint about is fiddly features it doesn't have. It's really frustrating. I don't want people to lick my shoes or whatever, but it would be nice to get positive feedback and criticism for what is PRESENT on the car that is legit broken that I missed. That is what I was looking for.

    So explain what you mean about the headlights, please. I'll put it on the list, if I missed something.

    its hard to explain, but its like how (idk this is an example) the roamer. at 0.34 the lights looked a LOT better, and same with a lot of cars in 0.35. mb smthn like that idk how to explain it. i guess you could compare the the hopper's lights to the stambecco's lights (its the first thing that came to mind), you can see the difference. the j58's lights are a little bit like the hopper's but again, a little bit higher quality. also the signal's actual light particle is inside the reverse light, so there's also that.

    also i have compared the lights to another f40 mod (im pretty sure its a repost of urs and it was on MoDlAnD but still) and i will say, i do prefer the offbrand's light more than the official's. i mean...     So, I think you are confused. The taillights ONLY come on when the car's headlights are on, OR the brakes are on, but I made the brake lights RED and not PINK like the modder did for the modland one. The signals only come one when left or right blinker is on.

    I think what you are talking about is the light particle and the lack of PBR textures. There are MANY things I don't know how to get right. The way the lights are RN, aside from the functionality of the beams and how far they project, is a placeholder until I can figure it out.

    Thank you for explaining, but it is still a little confusing for me. When V4 releases (hopefully this year) it will have that stuff addressed and you can see if it is better then.

    For now you are going to have to ignore it.

    You also have it backwards, I got this mod in a half broken and untextured state from WorldofMods and took it upon myself to fix it as a personal mod. That is how this started. The full story is on the first page.

    on urs they were ALL on, but still excited to see if/when you add it to V4 even if u dont still excited for it

    I assume when you say off brand, you are referring to mine (Civetta). My car's lights should not be all on all the time.

    They are off UNLESS the brakes are on or headlights or the blinkers. I am still a little confused because of the broken English and the translate program you may or may not be using. The IRL badged car that is on the Russian sites are all basically the same car that was released by someone and edited then reuploaded.

    Gabry's F40 (you can search it on Modland, it is a post with pictures. He is showing it off) was a personal mod that was leaked. That car has full PBR textures and the lights on that car look good. Eventually my car with have lights like that one.

    when i say offbrand i mean the modland one, not ur one. when i mean offbrand i mean not an official beamng forum mod. also im not sure what you mean by 'they are off UNESS the brakes are on or headlights or the blinkers'. i had each light on ( i tested them all on their own just didnt think i would need to scrnshot all those 0 and thats what they looked like.

    not really a big thing but the interior mirror isnt mirroring, would be nice if its fixed in the next patch

    What the heck? You're right. That was working WTF? This was working for the longest time. Why is it not now? damnit!

    Edit: It broke with 0.35 update........DAMNIT!! Trying to fix it now, but it doesn't wanna take. Everything looks syntactically correct, but it still doesn't wanna show. I even copied the sunburst2 method and changed the mirror model name from super_intmirror, to super_mirror, because that is what the sunburst2's interior mirror is called at the end (sunburst2_mirror). I even changed the mirror texture from mirror_CF (which worked btw in 0.34) to mirror_F (which is how the interior mirror is on the sunburst2)

    It still doesn't work. I will figure it out eventually.......

    Is the car meant to be shifting like this with arcade shifting? It seems to be shifting way too early after 1st gear, this is with all other mods disabled and cache cleared before

    I don't use arcade shifting. Probably not. I figured people would do the manual shifting, and it didn't occur to me folks would be using arcade. It'll be addressed.

    Also how did you get the interior mirror to work?

    Edit: OH DUH!!! Dynamic reflections need to be on for it to work! DUH!

    Do you mean the lack an adjustable interior mirror option in the vehicle config>tuning>adjust mirrors? I know that is an issue and I am aware of the bug, but it is rather persistent. I think I am going to PM Agent Y and see if they can give a clue. Otherwise, I am confused what you were talking about in your original complaint.

    I am confused what is broken.
