Welcome to Gelsenkirchen, Germany, 1981 Assetto Corsa Port All creds for porting to me, Orignial map creds to the respective authors This is a real track that was closed down many many years ago History: The Motodrom Gelsenkirchen, also known as the "Almaring," was a motorsport racing track located in the Ückendorf district of Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Established in 1969 by the Rheinländische Autorenn-Gemeinschaft (RAG) under the leadership of Anton Brenner, the circuit was constructed on the former site of the Alma coking plant. The track spanned approximately 0.75 kilometers (0.47 miles) and featured five turns, accommodating up to 2,000 spectators. It primarily hosted events such as autocross, motorcycle, and automobile circuit races. The Motodrom ceased operations after the 1984 racing season, primarily due to escalating noise complaints from nearby residents. The frequent weekend races and associated loudspeakers contributed to the disturbances, leading to increased protests against the noise pollution. Its unfortunate this track had to close, its a very beautiful track, and most importantly, VERY fun! Theres a very fun, Long, Endurance race on this map Try it out!
