In the game the wheel is dead at the center, the only way to fix that is to use response correction curve, but it is broken
I found a way to set the power to 1000. The only drawback is that when the machine is reset, everything returns as it was. You need to go to settings - management - key binding and type the FFB force test in the search (I don't remember the exact name) and assign the FFB boost and decrease keys. Moreover, the force can be increased even above 1000. However, when you reset the car or change it, everything will return to 500.
Oh wow, I'll try that, very useful if you're like me who doesn't change the cars often, you can even make some vehicles have stronger steering, such as trucks, thank you for spending your time finding that out.
How do I find previous versions to grab a mod folder to incorporate?. I looked all over beamNG drive files and nothing even related to a mods folder
It is located on the disk on which you have windows installed. Just press win + r and enter %appdata%, then the local - BeamNG.drive folder, select the version and the mods folder is there
sorry, probly covered somewhere in the 27 pages of this forum, but my custom config's don't show since update. again sorry if already covered, just got update loaded.
It's in 0.35 - Settings - Inputmaps. It's a lut file --- Post updated --- There's another file there, not sure if it's supposed to be there, I think it is --- Post updated --- Not sure if there is something wrong here
All i find doing that is vehicle file and files on vehicles once clicked again, is it possible to just make a folder called Mods and put the mods there? I have most of them backed up so can repopulate most plus the new updates. The only thing it's doing is taking me to the current backup file, which i can access in documents then double clicking beamNG drive file. all i see is a vehicle file, no Mods file anywhere in backups
5 times has my HUD been erased by the game after I tried to use the map. This glitch has always been around but it somehow got worse with this update. I don't even want to play this game anymore because it's inevitable that I'll have to recreate my entire HUD.
Your file should be "wheel.lut". As I see it's absent in your "Inputmaps" folder. --- Post updated --- Sure, you can.
Found a couple of mistakes: 1) The Moonhawk's 309CUI 'Solace-Eight' V8 has no Rev Limiter slot in its parts selector. I think this problem goes further back in the line of updates, before the 0.35, but it's still present in the 0.35. 2) The 2.0 turbocharged gasoline I4 of the FCVs reverted back to the sound the 1.6 turbocharged gasoline I4 has. It had a decently different, mellower, less buzzy exhaust note than the 1.6 before the 0.35 (interestingly enough, it was that one sound which, somehow, made it to the Pessimas at the time of the 0.32 - 0.33 updates - and it really was out of place on those cars due to their age), it denoted its larger 2.0l displacement really well, so it's a shame to share the same sound with the 1.6l.
There is a problem with 0.35. When saving a vehicle, even if you check "Create thumbnail", no thumbnail is generated and the vehicle selector shows "NO Prevew". Please fix this. Also, there is a bug with Miramar's beacon light where the light bar does not rotate when the siren sounds (see attached file). Please fix this.
