Seriously, what was wrong with the original radial menu? It functioned as it needed to, did everything you would've needed very quickly, and now they've completely destroyed it by putting it inside a laggy menu that completely covers up everything happening in game. No longer can you easily open up the radial menu to toggle or disable things, now you must suffer through a buggy menu that completely obscures everything happening in game. Is there a fix for this?

I liked pretty much everything else in the update, but what is up with devs ruining/destroying things that were already good in each update? The configuration menu, for example, sure it might look "better" but now you can't even see descriptions for tunables and parts, and it's somehow more laggy than what we had before despite my egregiously powerful computer.

The devs keep taking things that have functioned very well since day one and making them worse. What is the point? Who needed the radial menu to be locked behind 14 different keybinds and to be stripped of all utility? Why? How do I go back?

Not a valid argument because they could've made the radial menu more "polished" and "modern" without removing the actual utility and function of it. The actual radial menu and it's use didn't have to be sacrificed to make it look more Polish or whatever.

Funnily enough my only complaint with the new radial menu is the blur that covers the screen, otherwise I've found it to be far more responsive and works far more consistently on a controller

Personally I love the new menu! Contrasting your opinion, for me the old one was laggy and sometimes stayed on the screen after being closed, or didn't show up at all, but now for me the new one is not laggy at all, despite me having a less powerful computer than you. And changing it from Esc to E was good as well, as it means the main menu and the radial menu are now separated.

Obviously, changing the format and layout of it is going to be hard for people to take in, but I like how they're all in their own category that is more easy to navigate, for me at least. And everyone will learn it off-by-heart soon enough.

I like the GTA-styled slow-motion that happens, and I don't really understand what is so wrong with it 'obscuring the screen', because you are going to select something to do anyway, and not look at what's going on outside it, so if you wanted to see what's going on outside, just exit the menu? Sorry if that's coming across a bit rude, but I see nothing wrong with it (personally).

And I think they updated the Car Configuration menu to display descriptions of items now, at least it does for me.
