Update Speculation thread

iirc one of the devs said they're in the very early development stages of a "new car" that they hope to get into the game in 2026
don't think there were really any more details than that

that doesn't even guarantee it's "the next" new car, there could be one or two scheduled before it.

Well it is a dev driving so he would have a lot of practice

 

2026？It seems to be a huge project. Maybe EV or Hybrid due to their more complex electronics.

 

We have gotten EVs, but never a fully dedicated one on an EV platform. That would definitely be interesting

Something kind of interesting I noticed is how they get slightly less confident as the stage goes on, the early technical bits are really impressive (really nice steering technique, few mid-corner corrections, single turn in the whole corner, which is ideal) whilst in the later bits they begin to do more mid corner corrections and play it safer.

 

They were probably tired of restarting over and over again

 

I haven't watched the whole thing, so Ill check now and see what you mean. But I do agree with Koichiro that stenyak might be tired of constantly restarting.



stenyak is a good driver in real life too
