Yes, 46x11 cm German plates will be a part of this update. Some other types of plates, like old DIN plates and seasonal plates will also be available in this format.
These would be pretty cool. Though, I think these would be pretty useless/unrealistic, since today, their only used for decoration and mostly seen on car meets/old cars that still havent been registered to a new plate, since these arent valid anymore
Regarding historical license plates, I decided to give priority to old plates from Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic, because they're still valid today. After finishing them, when deciding which plates to make next, I take into account the year, when the plates of old systems stopped being valid. Slovak 1994-1997 plates were the first no longer valid plates that I decided to make, as they were valid until 31 December 2004. For now, my ordered plan list for future updates (only completely different systems count) is: 1. Romania (issued 1966-1993), they were valid until 2000 2. Hungary (issued 1958-1990), valid until 1995 3. German Democratic Republic (issued 1953-1990, with last design used from 1976), valid until 1993 I can't find information on when plates of former Yugoslavia stopped being valid in Slovenia/Croatia. So, license plates of GDR are in my plan list, but for now I want to focus on existing variants of plates (like temporary/export plates of already existing systems) and more compatibility with modded vehicles.
Noticed this a while ago already but only remembered it now, is this issue with 2 digits randomly disappearing on some specific combinations already in the fixing or is it some game engine related issue?
Could you tell me, on which plates (country, plate design and size) does this issue happen? Are these combinations randomly generated (by clicking the button in game) or specified by you? There are almost 200 distinct plate designs in my mod, so I would be happy if you let me know more about this problem. If I manage to recreate it, I can fix it before the mod update. --- Post updated --- Yes, I'll be very happy if you send me a photo of that plate. It may also help me with retrieving the shape of letters/numbers in case I didn't find good photos in the Internet.
uh idk i sent an image but it disappeared for some reason but its only on the german din plates and ive tried zi:ii 1111 on a 42x11 plate and the last two digits just despawned even tho they wouldve fit perfectly fine
Yes, I'll be very happy if you send me a photo of that plate. It will also help me with retrieving the shape of letters and numbers in case I didn't find good photos in the Internet. Thank you! The issue will be fixed in this update. It was because I set the maximum amount of characters too low - it was the same value as for FE-Schrift plates - for 46x11 plates and AB:CD 1234 combination, the last character wasn't displayed and for 42x11 plates, two last characters weren't visible. Now, a total of 11 characters can be placed, so since this update, every possible valid German registration number will be able to be displayed on DIN plates.
@rukatsunderi I also have a normal DDR plate, since i come from here, if you want i can give you a picture too.
Hey, I was wondering if it's somehow possible for us to add our own license plates, specifically German ones. What I mean is this: When you type a plate text according to the German plate format, the Bundesland's (federal state's) plaque next to the city/municipality that the plate is registered to automatically changes according to the code of the mod, but if you type a municipality code that doesn't exist irl (for example IBB), it just puts a plaque with the German eagle on it. Is there any way to get that non-existent municipality to show up with a Bundesland plaque, for example NRW? I hope you understand what I mean, explaining this is a bit difficult haha
rukatsunderi updated Central Europe Plates with a new update entry: Old Austrian and Czechoslovak plates, new variants of German plates Read the rest of this update entry... --- Post updated --- I would be very glad if you sent me a detailed picture of this plate too! I'll be happy the most if it's a plate issued after 1976, because their size was changed at that moment (single-row plates issued from 1976 to 1990 had dimensions of 45x9 cm and double-row plates - 31x17 cm). Version 1.2 just got approved a few minutes ago, so feel free to update!
Hi, I have three different DDR license plates, I can send you some photos if you want. I've also tried making Yugoslavia plates and this is how they turned out.
