Fleet update :33333333333333 Duki (1984 Suzuki LT250ef) Still kicking around in a non running state. am going to set up an appointment with a local shop for them to figure out what's up with it and to get it back on the trail (I miss it dearly) CT200 (someone suggest a name pls omggggg) unkillable Chinese quality I did add a small mudflap for the front fender because dirt was getting all up in the front of the engine and it was icky. works very well Old blue (2005 ram 2500) fuck it runs so damn well. nothing to say NEW STUFF!!!!!!! 2004 Honda CRF250x (I have dubbed Murphy, as in Murphy's law) This is Murphy. Murphy doesn't enjoy living all too much, and has had some abusive previous owners. I put a head gasket and piston in it when I got it. my plan was to sell it and buy my beloved LT250r, but no one bought it :/ I am now dead set on making this the best I can, because in all reality, it rides really well when it runs well Thats the catch, it runs like shit. from factory, the 250x's came choked out to make the Californians happy, and it was common to "Uncork them". well one of the previous owners freed up the intake and exhaust and got bored apparently, since you need to put bigger jets in it when this is done (it still has the stock jets). so I was battling it for months trying to figure out why it ran like shit until I actually looked at the jets. JD jetting kit coming soon hopefully. other than that, its a pretty cool bike, that looks pretty damn nice How it looked when I got it v 1970 Honda SL350 My dads co worker had this bike and was going to scrap it because he thought it was junk. I stepped in and took it off his hands. safe to say, this project is pretty far from being done :/ someday he'll grow up into a bike bike
I once owned a 1972 Norton Commando Hi-rider, But it crashed when another one of my friends drove it into a ditch, and the wreck has been sitting in my garage ever since. And now I have a Kawasaki Ninja H2.
That's a nice bike, hopefully you can get it back to its former glory. (I say this as a non-bike person, but I really want one)

Buying jets for my 250x, all this just to get to the carb... For the SL, taillight :3 I didn't know this SL came with a brake light, since other years came with a different lens that was bigger, I just assumed this one only had a running light. turns out it is in fact set up for a brake light. definitely will get it registered when its done Also, PSA, the SL is not meant to be a restoration, its meant to be a "lets get a cool old bike running and have fun with it" project. don't be sad about it being "abused", its a honda Suzuki went into the shop Saturday, giving me enough mental space to work on these two, so while its in the shop, expect more updates on the hondas
They really are, like a dual sport that bullied the KLXs and TWs in highschool. If you look in the first pic, you can see where the intake boot puts the carb, directly behind a large frame section. It's technically possible to work on it in-frame, but i've gotten good at taking the carb out (15 mins). sucks you have to go as far as to unbolt the upper shock bolt to even fit your hand in there. Also, my bike is a ticking time bomb. the first 2 years of this bike came with titanium intake valves, and they beat the valve seats to death. oh what fun...
More news :333333 The CRF250x is going to be sold. I checked the valves, and the clearances are way too tight, I think the valve seats are being beat to death. Going to put the tuned jets into it and sell it (this will cost upwards of $600 to do new top end). Will put money from it into the SL. Might use some of it to get my grandpas old TS125 running The Suzuki has been torn down, here's what the previous shop did wrong -decompression system stuck inside valve cover -fucking DESTROYED the top end (pics from shop working on it now) for reference, a piston with 40 years and 4700 miles on it (the original one the first shop replaced) (piston only has minor scoring except the "4 corners") The new piston had maybe 2 minutes on it. what the fuck
