The Astoria was marketed after Ibishu acquired a 20% stake in Hirochi in late 1991. It was primarily sold in the U.S. from 1988 to 1993. It found a modest but loyal following among enthusiasts who appreciated its blend of Japanese reliability and understated flair. However, it struggled to find mainstream success, often overshadowed by the very Pessima it blatantly copied.

I’m sorry but this lore really isn’t that great. Why would Ibishu buy a 20% stake in Hirochi? And why would this mean Hirochi immediately rebadges the Pessima? This wouldn’t make much sense unless we had like four or five Japanese brands in this game.

 

Add a beater config. That would be awesome

sorry, but this sounds as if Kia buys Subaru or something like that

the only reason i can think this would work if you changed the Pessima into a RWD, made it more sporty and add a Boxer engine

 

But the pessima is a average car. Not a sports car. So wouldn't work

 

so a Boxer BX then?
(thats the only Ibishu sporty car that i can think of, and that is in the regular game)
