I'll accept your photos of license plates in every amount. Your Yugoslav plates look very beautiful, their quality is so great!

Thanks for reminding me! It was my plan for last update, but I actually forgot about that. Your proposal of implementation sounds very cool and I'm sure I will do it that way, so there would be no need to copy subscript/superscript numbers from Character Map.

Thank you so much for your support and useful information about historic license plates! I'll try to search for more information on Hungarian websites. I found one with photos of historic plates: https://forum.index.hu/Article/showArticle?t=9177480&la=169537446

Thank you! I've discovered this website a few days ago and it has so many useful information. Because of a large variety of typefaces, it will be difficult for me to make pre-1976 GDR plates.
What's interesting, Polish plates from 1956-1976 system (that were valid until 1983) also didn't have a standarized font, there were few different fonts in use.

There's a link about license plates of Yugoslavia:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_Yugoslavia
According to successor state plates, Yugoslavian plates were valid in period between until 2000 and 2008 when SFR Yugoslavia has been separated to Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and other Balkan countries.
I also recommend to look at these successor state plates links to make older variants of the plates of already existed countries

I found an issue with your custom plates collide with bumper. This happens with the mod https://www.beamng.com/resources/hirochi-mistral.23527/
The issue encountered with 52x12 and 52x11,4 cm license plates on facelift front bumper of Hirochi Mistral, but that thing is related to all plates made specially for some countries.
I hope that issue will be fixed

    Hello,
I love this mod! I have a couple suggestions for the recently added German License Plates (1956-2000, new sticker), and (1994-1995):

From roughly 1995 to 2000, the 1956-2000 style license plates had a slightly higher dash, lifted about 5mm, to accomodate the new 45mm stickers.

    lp3.jpg

From 1995 until ~1997 (in some towns until 2000), a lifted dash was combined with an old 35mm sticker.

    lp2.jpg

The (1994-1995) EU-style license plates were also issued in west Germany, but usually without the dash.

It would be nice, if those details can be implemented :)
    Thank you

Thank you so much for your report! This issue will be fixed in the next update. It would be very time-consuming for me to check if my license plates work with all possible car configurations, so big thanks for noticing!
Regarding older variants of Slovenian and Croatian plates, the following update will be focused mainly on them, as it was a very long time since I've added new plates for these countries. One of my plans is to add more city/town crests for Slovenian plates - currently only 11 (corresponding to codes used in registration numbers) are available, but in the next update it will be possible to select any of 58 town crests - it will be realized by using a switch and then 3 letters from the town name (the list will be published later).
    --- Post updated ---
I didn't know about it before. Thank you so much for this useful information, I'll try to implement these variants of plates in the next version.

Hey btw after thinking for a bit I thought that maybe we could cooperate a bit, as I've also been reworking my German project over the last few months as well as teaching myself programming. I've already made systems such as automatic coat of arms generation (for example on the Swiss plates) as well as automatic spacing, Engschrift, dynamic TÜV seals, etc. Since I feel like it'd be both pretty bad to have two separate mods or me having to throw all the work away again, I think it's best if we just work together (with two people we'd also be able to get the update out quicker), so if you're open for cooperation just write me a PM :)

The bottom one is just a normal DIN plate from Pirna.

    Current update progress:

I've added more types of Polish 1976-2000 plates:
    • Blue background - diplomatic plates, format: "WA 12.345", where first 2 letters are always "WA" and 2 first digits denote the country/organization
    • Green background - foreigner plates, format: "IWA 1234", where "I" is always the first letter and "WA" is the regional code
    • Red background - test plates, format: "XWA 1234", where "X" is always the first letter and "WA" is the regional code
    • Black background, yellow font - temporary plates, format: "A 12.3456", where first 2 characters denote the region, e.g. "A 0" to "A 4" - Warsaw voivodeship
Also, new type of plates introduced in December 2024 were added - plates for sports cars, used for temporary registration of cars used for example in rallies. The same number format as temporary plates, also available in reduced-size version.

I've also increased possibilities of town crest selection for Slovenian plates - now, all 58 coats of arms (comparing to 11 crests available previously) can be chosen by adding a "|" character and then 3 letters from the town/city name. Full list of codes can be seen below. By default (if no additional data were given), a crest of the town corresponding to regional code (first 2 letters) is shown.

    cep_2025-05-17_2.jpg

Also, there will be more compatibility with modded cars - for today, all car mods from ingame repository that have more than 32,000 downloads (and work well in 0.35) are supported, I'm planning to extend this list even more.

I'm also incredibly happy to announce that German license plates will be made in collaboration with RealVector. I strongly believe that our cooperation will improve quality of German license plates and bring more customization possibilities!

Excellent news that you will do German plates with RealVector.
I would like to see more types of license plates: not only regular, seasonal, and military (Bundeswehr). But also plates for oldtimers (that have H letter at the end), electric vehicles (that have E letter at the end), short-term and export transit plates, plates of official services and consulates, transferable and diplomatic plates and more...
If so, here's the link for plate generator of German license plates:
