    Hello,
after the last update the game decided to create new imposters for the bushes and trees on my map in the shape of nice, white cubes that pop up in a certain distance...

I could not find anything on how these imposters are created and why the game decides to do that (it didnt do it for the last year that I have been working on this map).
When I check the .dae file of the trees there is no trace of these imposters, it has normal lod levels (its the vanilla plants from johnsonvalley, called "deserttrees").
The game only does this on my custom map, not on the vanilla maps.

Anyone has any idea on how to deal with this?

Seems like I found the fix for this (if anyone has the same issue):
If you are working on a custom map that was initially created a long time ago, there might be some .cs files among your assets. in this case it was deserttree_bush_medium.cs etc. Apparently they force the game to create some imposters so deleting them should stop that from happening. I don´t know why they don´t use the imposter.dds graphic files that are there anyways and decides to create new white blocks but whatever

Yes I think so. I still dont know why the game did not use the imposter.dds graphics that were there in the right place anyways.
I missed something in the previous post: not only delete the .cs files in the folder, also go to the vanilla folder of the respective map and copy/paste the deserttree_bush_medium.dae.asset.json (name in this case) files over to your map folder.
theoretically the game creates these on its own with the .cs files but for some reason I dont know it didnt work and only worked when I deleted the cs files and copied the .jsons manually.
