Do y'all think the Scintilla should have a V8 or a V12 instead of the V10?

I mean, Civetta’s basically Ferrari’s fake twin, and Ferrari never really did V10s in their production cars, so a V8 or V12 would make way more sense. Throwing in a V10 just makes it feel like a generic supercar instead of something actually exciting.

Since there’s already a V12 sound in the game files that never got used for some reason, they could just go with that, or make a new V8 sound, think about the 458 Italia sound or maybe something newer like the F8 Tributo.

That’d add more engine variety instead of just reusing the same V8 sound in every Gavril and Bruckell except for the Bolide and the Nine.

    What do you think?

there is massively more variety of supercars out there with V8s than V10s, a V10 is definitely not "generic".
The scintilla is also the only car in-game to have a V10.

That being said, more engine variety would be a great idea for a mod pack.

Looking at the mechanical underpinnings of the Scintilla, it becomes clear that it is based on the R8/Huracan. I think the V10 fits.

I think it’s fine as-is. The main upside of fictional cars is that not every car has to perfectly match up with its real-world counterpart.

Yeah, agreed; in my opinion it's actually V12s that are the "generic supercar engine" while V8s are used for pretty much everything though they do see usage in supercars and hypercars too (almost the entirety of Koenigsegg, some Ferraris as mentioned). V10s are comparatively underrated in my opinion, and the only performance cars with them that I can name right now are the Lexus LFA and Porsche Carrera GT, as well as the Lamborghini Gallardo, Huracan, and their many derivatives.

    I think it's fine with a V10 engine.
