Does any dev have an official explanation here? We can't figure out the rationale for tuning differences between certain cars... and since I thought of it, I'd like to know what makes superchargers behave the way they do in Beam, and whether this behavior can be disabled when making a mod. Does someone know what folder and what file the Understeer Force Reduction value is? I saw the other day while messing around in the files, that the game has a multiplier value for FFB, which is lower than 1, and it makes your wheel lighter when the car is understeering, I wanna chnage it to a higher value, because it's too light --- Post updated --- Found it --- Post updated --- How do I edit the values in the file? (verified in safe mode) I only use the liftback once in a blue moon so I didn't notice until now, but didn't the inner taillights use to light up as well during braking? Now they only light up when the headlights are on, which feels weird given their larger surface area versus the outer taillights.
Hello. When the car is parked with the ignition on, it makes strange noises. This is found on Hirochi Sunburst and Ibishu 200BX. Is it possible to remove them somehow?
I doubt checking BeamNG in SAFE MODE will change anything, I opened the mods menu in game and waited until i thought the lag was over and then I tried to left click on open mod folder button but as it turns out the lag was not over and I instead Clicked on Deactivate All Mods which I didn't want to do. Now every mod/map is deactivated and I now need to go through all the installed mods to reactivate certain selected mods only so I don't overwhelm the game with too many activated mod plugins, Could the game Devs move those clickable buttons around prior to the following versions release so accidental clicks can be avoided. I have a complaint: Allowing the newer mods/maps to use the same name as an older mod name etc as it can break mods/maps. see below example (Darren9) mods were removed from BeamNG.com many years ago but I have kept most of his mods available in my mods achieve folder - over approx 7,500 mods/maps etc on multiple hard drives are archived. Recently I downloaded and installed the mod called Hirochi Outlaw which shows up in the DH Outlaw mods folder in the games mod menu and now both mods fail to spawn forcing me to deactivate one of the two Outlaw mods if I want t o use either of them.) If the game Dev's knocked back the mod creators attempt to call his Motorcycle mod as the Hiroshi Outlaw then maybe it would not have merged with an older mod that uses part of the same name resulting in both mods breaking. OFF TOPIC - Yes I try to save every version of the mod and maps that get released via BeamNG.com without overwriting the older version with the newer version just in case some one wants a certain mod/map creation that has long been deleted. I also have some selected mods and maps I want to get fixed, Mods like the DSC Saturn V full-size rocket as well as the workclock1© Mini Model Rocket version, Has BeamNG made changes to how the THRUSTERS work? That could be a reason why the Rockets no longer work. Also I want to get Jammin2222's Concrete Carnage map fixed.
I noticed that this sound occurs on almost all cars if you install a turbine. Does anyone else have similar errors, or is this problem just me?
How do I get the odometer ui app to work? If I add to my screen it just is blank and doesn't track distance. I've tried clicking on it but that doesn't seem to work.
happens to me on some cars as well. I think: when idling, the rpm is fluctuating, and goes a bit lower than the set idle rpm (ex 850). So, the sound just gets louder, like you put it in drive and are braking if u know what i mean
