.Dae - Old Cached.DTS Files?

    i have a old map that has Original Dae files, and it has these DTS Cached files with them..

    since that is no longer relevant i can remove ALL DTS files from the level correct?
    i read a thread saying it no longer uses DTS files to "speed up loading" its using CDae, now
    so does that mean i need to create those? if so how...

    The cdae files are created automatically and can be found in the corresponding temp folder. You can copy them over to your level. Then they aren’t created on first start which speeds up loading. Texture cooker dds files and imposters are located in temp too. If you copy the dds files back to your level you should delete the corresponding png file in your map. Otherwise it does the cooking process all over again.

    Not sure if this is what youre asking but you only need the .cdae files if you want to speed up loading times, the map will still work perfectly fine without any .cdae or .dts files

    Okay so i will remove all the very old DTS Cache files, since i dont need them. and later import the .cdae files @AlexKidd71 mentioned! thank you guys
