Hello, I used to be a BeamNG player, but I switched to macOS. Would it be possible to release BeamNG on macOS? I have an Intel chip, which I suppose would make things easier? Thank you in advance, I really hope so.

I highly doubt that they'd spend the time making a version for an outdated architecture, if you can, dual boot macos and some sort of Linux or windows

You can already play it via a program by the name of Wine I think, but there is next to no chance of the team developing the game itself for MacOS sorry

Devs won't make a MacOS port, use Wine instead.
Plus, you really think a Intel chipset will make things easier? I think not, minimum GPU for BeamNG is a GTX 550 Ti, not integrated graphics. If you do so, you'll have 10 FPS max and some features won't be available like openables.

are you speaking out of your ass or what
using integrated graphics doesnt mean you wont have openables
and a 550TI is surpassed by many many igpus if he has something like an i5 10th gen and can run windows on the computer, he should be fine, like cmon 3 years ago i ran beamng on a laptop with a dual core athlon and vega 7 igpu with 1gb vram and 6gb system ram (in w11 too), now it barely ran but you can defenately play beamng with an igpu

Never said the game won't launch, said the experience won't be fine, especially running on a emulator to run the game on MacOS

Im not sure it will works, I think it will poorly run beamng, but you said you have Intel Mac. so use something called "Bootcamp" to dual boot windows "10" cuz windows 11 is not supported.
I think this run beamng same as office laptop XD

well u have to go lowest setting btw in beamng cuz Mac use igpu btw beamng is gpu heavey game that's why.

if you will do bootcamp this is tut:

IIRC most Intel Macs use iGPUs, in exception of the ones with dGPUs. Pretty sure you could just run Windows under Bootcamp, or Linux and install BeamNG on your Linux partition with OpenCore EFI patcher so you can dual-boot without constantly having to hold down the option key when booting.

I don't know anything about Wine, but another good way to play BeamNG would be with GeForce NOW. There is a subscription service, but it's optional. It has a few connection issues from time to time, but it works well enough.

Mac hasn't been making intel computers since a while, right? What computer do you have? But either way it shouldn't be hard to install windows or linux since the intel chips are x86 anyways.
