It sorta depends on how long you're fine with it taking. Want to avoid all the reading? I've gone ahead and put each job along with its typical profit in bold I've also included the typical price of each vehicle at the end of each job's paragraph. I've stopped playing as much Beamng lately, and not only that, but I've really only driven a taxi and gone on patrol post-update, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, folks, but; Repo missions will make you a REAL pretty penny, but this will most likely take the longest. You have to go and pick the vehicle up (and if it hasn't been fixed, you need to get in and put it in park or set the parking brake or it's going to roll away before you even hook it up/load it onto a trailer) and then it needs brought back to a certain dealership. The way your pay is calculated when it comes to repossessions is the value of the vehicle getting towed, how far away the dealership is, damage done to the vehicle, and maybe the distance driven to the vehicle, not too sure about that. I would recommend the powertrain UI app, even if you know which axle is typically driven, cause some vehicles have RWD, FWD, and AWD options, and if you're using a tow truck you need to make sure the driven axle is what's being hooked. Typical profit is at LEAST $2.5k-$4k. I'm going to consider this the second most expensive job to start; you will either need to buy a tow truck (good luck finding one that's not super expensive), or the better route, buy a pickup truck (can be the d-series or md-series) and modify it into a tow truck, the parts are decently cheap last I checked. You can also just buy a pickup (or whatever and throw a tow hitch on it) and a trailer, but not only is that going to steal your only two slots if you're still at the Chinatown garage, it's going to be the most expensive of all of the options for repo vehicles, possibly even more expensive than a police car. Driving a taxi is a close second here. It takes as long as you decide, and you are paid by the mile (or kilometer, the taxi app uses metric units) and how many passengers you are carrying. I would recommend a minivan over a sedan. You will make more money (per trip) the more jobs you take in a row. Something to note with this is that you may actually end up making more than you do driving a repo truck (or hauling a trailer) in the same amount of time, but initially, you will make more repoing cars per run, so that is why this is placed second. Typical profit is between $750 and $1.5k per trip, with some trips paying more than $1.5k, typically multi-passenger rides going a decent distance. This is going to be the cheapest job to get into, as you can use literally whatever vehicle with multiple seats as a taxi. 600BHP ETK K-series built for drifting? Go for it. Track-ready Civetta Scintilla? No sir, this is a taxi ready Scintilla. Finally, being a cop. While I would consider it the most fun, it is the most inefficient when it comes to making money. This is another one of those jobs where, in a way, it depends on how long you take, but there's a couple of factors that go into this. First off, the longer your pursuit is, the more money you will make. If you're in pursuit and lose the suspect, and the chase was going on for a while, you'll make maybe $1k for repairs, about a quarter to a fifth of what you earn for successfully ending the pursuit and capturing the suspect. If you lose your suspect early on in the pursuit, it's going to be about $250-$750 that hits your account. You will earn somewhere between $1.25k and $4.5k for most pursuits, granted you catch the suspect (this can also be done by other officers, police AI joining in on your pursuit. This actually works both ways, you can join another officer's pursuit and whether or not you're the one that ends it, you will still be paid as if you are the one who began and ended the pursuit, so long as the suspect is caught). If you get into a collision (ngl, if you hit something and the car is driveable, just keep driving, it's a waste of money when it comes to patrolling), fail to catch the suspect, and go to repair your car, you're going to be at a loss (obviously this depends on the damage done). Catch at least one suspect after a decently long pursuit (or 2-3 suspects) and chances are you won't be paying out of pocket for your repairs, if needed, meaning that it's going to eat some profit, but you're still making money. A police car is also going to be the most expensive of all these job's required vehicle, or you can buy your own car and have it certified as a police car (this can be done with or without actually modifying it into a police car, but either way it will take four real life hours to finish certification. All of these factors combined, and you're going to make the least as a cop out of any other job, specifically if you aren't a great driver, unless you're real good at driving and can pull off pit maneuvers without causing too much damage to your vehicle (if any).* *If you want to go on pursuits, have traffic, and avoid losing money, I would STRONGLY recommend a wheel, or at the very least a cheap controller. Delivering cargo isn't included as it is a vanilla feature and also something I haven't done in a while, and not only does the amount of money you make vary GREATLY with delivering cargo, making it a bit hard to actually lump in with the rest of this stuff, I don't want to spew bullshit. I hope this helps anyone who comes across it!
Hello im the only one missing EMD JDM OTHER and MISC dealerships in carrer mode is something bugged i reinstalled couple of times cache done still same thing ;/
I've got a suggestion, unsure if it's possible. I tried to drive a vehicle towing a trailer back through to the US from Italy, but only the tow car got there. The trailer stayed in Italy. Will be be possible in the future to be able to go across with both? Can that be done? And if you were to tow a trailer with a vehicle on/it it too? I try to keep my "non road legal" cars to being towed to Rally events and the track etc so it would be good if this could happen --- Post updated --- Oh and another point. I tried doing a performance assessment on Italy and my car got drooped from a great height and damaged. Can we fix this?
Just a heads up for Raceless and the other devs - on the Italy map at the Garantito Garage sometimes larger vehicles spawn on the roof. Not sure if its something thats been flagged but i've just had it. Please see image uploaded
how do you start mission with the career overhaul and how does it work with marketplace and selling vehicles and repair them
If you're talking about pursuit/evade missions, for example, drive to it after finding it on the map, drive into the blue marker, and start the mission. To sell a vehicle on the marketplace, go to vehicles, click on the one you want to sell, and hit "list for sale" or whatever it's called, not instant sell. Repairs work just the same as vanilla, use your computer (if it isn't working go to the Chinatown Garage) and hit repair for a vehicle in the garage(/parking spaces) or repair a vehicle in storage through the vehicles menu.
something nice would be an option to remove the players car if your doing a car delivery. I love doing car delivery missions but because I dont have a good pc I have to walk to said missions so I dont lose all my frames
Sir, I created an account to ask you some stuff as you seem to be pretty knowledgeable. I have not seen one suspect flee from me, I only get a notification that they ran away. Is there a way to spot suspects? Also, how can I find races in career mode that isn't just the ones I select from the menu? Like the 6 or so BMRA or whatever races? I know these are dumb questions but the racing thing specifically is frustrating because the UI in this game is frankly terrible. Its like the UI is as bad as the car and physics simulation is good
"Guys, I need help. I started playing RLS now at 0.35. However, when I started playing, I already had all the garages purchased. I've already cleared the cache and tried to start another profile, but every time I start, all the garages are already purchased. I don't use any other mod, just the RLS base race and the Italy expansion. Does anyone know how I can solve this?" Translated it for you
Hi, I'm having an issue where my game just hangs when trying to open the purchase vehicle menu. I've tried clearing cache and disabling all mods any idea of what else I can do?
im a female lol, but if you're loading the game and already in your police car and going on patrol that could be bugging it out, so make sure you hop out and hop back in first and that it actually says that you're a cop. Drive around and eventually someone will just take off and it will tell you someone is fleeing, that is your suspect. When you say BMRA, you mean the ones in the career paths menu, right? if they aren't showing up, you probably need to complete some more events before these (which will also benefit you as it will allow you to sharpen your skill before taking on a more difficult course). If you're talking about something else, I'm getting ready to play myself and should be able to figure it out, so I'll keep an eye on the forums Edit: I think I know what you're talking about, if you're talking about the track, dirt track, etc., drive over there and drive up slowly to the checkered line (or blow through it for a hotlap), those don't show up on the map.
I have Same issue the best I can tell you is to despawn your car and pause the game before loading the dealer that way you chances of it freezing are slimmer
Apologies! I have a bad habit of assuming everyone on a gaming forum is male. But yeah what I'm looking for are just regular AI races. I can do the 6 or so from the menu but I would assumed there would be more with this mod. If I roll up to a track is it a race or am I just setting a time? Last night I was able to find a suspect when I started flashing my lights at everyone. He got away (stupid moonhawk detective special doesn't have ABS). But I want to thank you again because taking your advice I bought a bucket ETK and fixed it up a bit and started doing Taxi missions and it was awesome. Its confusing because it isn't clear how much you will earn per trip until the trip is done but I think I cleared 4k on one trip? I swear they give you more money the crazier I drive. I truly am a crazy taxi Ok so stupid question about Taxis, in some videos I see that passengers have AI avatars, like snowmen or something. Is that an option in the menu I'm missing? Or a mod? I mostly play in VR so maybe that is it? I will try it in pancake mode and see
Oh no, you're fine! I'm pretty sure that there's actual AI races that you can do, if so, you need to complete the time trials (in the menu/map) first. I might just be thinking of the i.r.o.k races, which had to be removed from career mode for 0.35 due to a bug. The ones that i mentioned before, yes, you are just setting a time for those, but you do also make money off each lap (more if you beat your best time). I'm pretty sure that the snowmen are an actual thing through a mod, but there's a mod that allows you to get crash test dummy passengers in your car, so i'm assuming that they're either running that mod or edited the passengers in for the thumbnail, I don't know of any mod that adds and removes passengers as you pick them up, nor am I entirely sure it's possible in BeamNG, or career mode at least, as it would need to edit your car parts mid-game. And of course, I'm glad I could help!
