good news is i figured out the issue, the spring was set to FLT_MAX which caused the instability when it was set too high, issue is resolved and ill roll it out with the facelift update since its actually almost done lol and plus the website doesnt seem too keen on letting mods update very frequently --- Post updated --- the suspension was also a little too light as well, i made it slightly heavier to take the punishment the full slider to the right puts on it --- Post updated --- a battle so brutal it might cause a crisis of sorts
im working on a hotfix for some issues i discovered watching my friend play around with the car, point out anymore now and ill look into them --- Post updated --- went through the issues with my friends in a call, hotfix is waiting for approval and ill let yall know the second it goes live!
Rolled into production in the year 1974 the facelift of the Vixette Aphelion set out on its mission of being a fun fuel efficient muscle car of the mid to late 70's. With engines ranging from a 260cui V8 all the way to the mammoth sized 409cui V8, power ranging from the lowest rating of 100hp flat all the way up to 200hp in all civilian models with police packages getting a boosted 220hp. Much softer suspension was setup from the factory as well to cater towards more older drivers who wanted a more comfy cruiser. Facelift design is finalized, working on more configs and some new skins and other parts as of the current minute.
Put in your cassette of "Who's Crying Now" and take a trip down memory lane. The year is 1978 and your dad just came home from a secret trip and walked through the door with the biggest grin you've ever seen him with. He says to you "Come outside champ I got something to show you." You walk out the front door with him and your mom and sitting in the driveway is a brand new 1978 Vixette Aphelion, but not just any old Aphelion that you've seen going up and down roads for the past few years. Oh no this here is the 390 King of The Road one of the highest trim levels you could get of the facelift. Sitting on sport suspension and plenty of other goodies that get your heart pumping. Your dad says to get in the rear seat the 3 of you are going for a ride in it. The slow rumble of the big V8 under the hood and sound of soft rock playing from the radio sticks with you for years. This truly is the King of The Road.
i havent stopped working on it yet, just slowing down to prevent burnout. have this till im back from a 2 week vacation out of state.
You know, this is my favourite automation based car mod out there. I just do hope that this will recieve actual 3D lights instead of the outdated 2D lights like beamng used to have back in the day. You could reuse the current ones to be the glass by making it transparent and then put something behind there and for the textues you could probably use the lights from the common folder. Also another thing I have noticed is that the doors still arent openable.
Adding some final addons and adjustments to the update, figured id update the roof rack a little with some new cargo options for more career mode compatibility. And then I also added some check lights to the interior as a option.
