I hope my post won't be considered as bumping. It has been a while, and I do apologize for this long-overdue update. It is mostly just a QoL update to bring some official features to the Coronet. There are no new vehicle-specific additions in this update. The openable doors were completed sometime in August 2023. Below was a test conducted in July 2023. The feature that I got stuck on was the ignition status. I took another long break since I couldn't get it to work at all. When I finally decided to try again this year, everything just worked somehow, even though I didn't change anything. V1.3 (2025.05.25) -Implemented openable doors. -Implemented dynamic mirrors. -Implemented animated shifters for all manual transmissions. -Added the official odometer to all gauges. -Updated all lamps to halogen. -Added some official police equipment. -Added roof bars. -1969 Super Bee now has a colorable hood. Note: Due to changes made to the ".dae" file, navigate to your user path (User/AppData/Local/BeamNG.drive/0.x), and delete the "coronet" folder from the "vehicle" folder to prevent texture issues. Known Issues: -I am aware that the rearview mirror might not show the most ideal reflection, but I don't know how to fix it. -At some point, BeamNG changed how it renders chrome, and some chrome parts would appear dark or completely black in some situations. This forced me to retake the thumbnails in the "Garage" level, which still didn't produce great results. Investigation is ongoing. Here's a little video I made just for fun. I hope you can enjoy it. I want to thank Stoat Muldoon again for the amazing work done on the Coronet and the ongoing work at BeamNG.
Loving the update so far, having openables now qualifies it to be in my mods folder indefinitely. But could you please update the thumbnails? I know it's just a personal gripe but the current pics disrupt the flow of the vehicles tab.
I don’t think it’s bumping if the author of the thread and mod posts after a while. But I’m so happy to see this mod make a comeback! Definitely love ‘60s and ‘70s vehicles.
