Which settings to use?

I have a 4060 laptop which is very similar to its desktop counterpart and a i7 13700HX. What are the best graphics settings to use for this gpu. Preferrably presets but custom settings can work too. Maybe someone with the same gpu can help me?

i7 13700HX
32Gb DDR5

 

Honestly you can probably run the game with high/ultra and sliders at "recommended values", especially if you are targeting 60fps. Do that, and then compare against D3D11 and Vulkan to see which rendering API gives you better performance (it's most likely going to be Vulkan)

 

Ok, will test. Although I wonder is the difference between high and ultra noticable in a way?

 

Yeah, adds specular lighting/shadows and stuff. If you can run ultra, it looks a lot nicer in certain lighting conditions

 

4060 and 13700HX combo can crush high or ultra. Drop grass a bit and rtx must be running!!

 

I'm gonna test both ultra and high and then decide from there.

I also forgot to mention that I prefer mirror reflections over car body reflections.

I mean, its kind of for you to decide from your own findings/testing. Pretty sure both will work fine on your setup. Naturally, high is going to be a bit more performant with a slight visual loss and vice versa for ultra. Pick what suits you best

 

I personally think that high works best after some testing.
