In case you weren't already aware, this website claims that the 260ci V8 made 120hp in 1980 (upgraded from 110hp in 1977 if the pre-facelift is added) before being detuned to 105hp the next year, and the 307 made 150hp instead of the later 145. Unless you have other sources contradicting these details, would it be possible at some point to comb through the Automobile-Catalog to look for all such year-to-year changes and add year-specific factory fuel systems to the engines, so that it is possible to recreate the power output of each year's engine lineup in game?
I decided against this as it's way too much work and would add too much complexity. Intakes are shared between engines now and this would mean every engine would need like 5 different dedicated intakes, and each one would need its own EGR valve setup and stuff
Will you make the interior of the Impala different than the Caprice? I remember that in the original post for the addon, Sergeant Fido said that he did not include the interior Impala details that would distinguish it from the Caprice.

I think this is due to the wheel and hubcap materials not being updated to the newer PBR system, since updating the paint was likely a bigger priority for the team.
I think that's just a vintage GM thing, my '82 Firebird does the same alternating pattern with the front signal and the side marker when the parking lights / headlights are on. Nice to see that having a possible appearance

if I remember correctly it was barely even started and was just in the basic model stage / concept art (also someone else is making a DS mod as we speak)
As far as I have researched so far, the sedan Caprice in the old mod had the Impala interior, while the wagon had the normal Caprice one? At least the door panels. This mix up will be fixed and each will use its own door panels. Are there any other differences?
It seemed like it was well advanced, for sure it don’t look exceptionally good as a 2017 mod but I do believe it was playable. And what’s the name of the creator of that DS mod ?
Hi, there's a little bug, nothing really important though. The manual transmission shifter is clipping when you modify a stock config for some reason. Both the 4 and 5 speed gear shifter clip a little bit through the car's body. I couldn't find what's causing this. The blue interior car is the Grand Sport Custom (coupe), while the one with the red interior is just a common 350 config which had an auto shifter (4 door). (edit) This only happens in cars that have four doors, coupes don't have this problem.
What about the beater configs? Are they also expensive or do they not spawn at all? I would enjoy the experience of delivering 128 slot cargo with rusty deformation behavior
