So basically i created this map from the Template Map, and it's looking good so far. However, when i try to create a river, it will not let me make make the terrain go any more low than the bottom. However, i built the map up from the bottom, and i basically need to go below the bottom of the map to build my river. I do not believe there is a way to do this, so i edited the terrain in blender. However, now i cannot just replace the terrain without the roads getting deleted. Screenshot2025-05-31183740.png
*The texture is a google maps PNG so it looks a bit off right now*

*TLDR*: I need to find a way to either make terrain under the current terrain, or replace the terrain without deleting all the roads.

Export the terrain, with the alphas. Load the heightmap into gimp or Photoshop. Then reduce the range of the greyscale, so you're not maxing out black (or just shift the brightness upwards on all pixels if maxing upwards isn't an issue). Then reimport with the alphas. You'll have to move the terrain down, but it'll give you some room to go down. You may need to fiddle about with some settings.

Just be sure to export the heightmap from gimp/Photoshop as uncompressed greyscale 8bit floating (I think, it might be one of the other settings... Basically try a few and one will be without stepping)
