We already have an exhaust tree system that defines different points for exhaust properties such as muffling and loudness but not yet dynamic performance. Why isn't there an intake tree? That can do the same thing such as intake muffling and more such as air filter components that if damaged can damage the engine over time and intake components such as superchargers and turbochargers which can also get louder if the part of the intake tree gets damaged as well as affect performance like how the exhaust can decrease performance the intake can increase performance if a certain part gets damage like the air filter which will cause damage over time to components in the intake tree which also makes it possible to not have a single intake point such as the snorkel which has problems like just breaking off the snorkel the intake is still on the snorkel which means the vehicle can go underwater without taking water damage because the snorkel is no longer connected to the vehicle and can just stay on dry land while the vehicle can go under water.
