BEAM DEVS YOUR F*CKING KILLING ME

All these ui changes are absolute shite!!!. First the vehicle configs tab and got shat on, then the next update ABSOLUTELY feckin destroyed the radial wheel, lastly this update the main menu got the unnecessary treatment. Devs, please quit focusing on the stupid ui fixes, make more cool stuff like always. Please quit letting the intern make the ui. The mechanics of the game are great esspecially the new ones but ui changes constantly happening is infuriating especially when they are a downgrade. The main menu just gave me an aneurysm and I was not able to make it past before I had to vomit in the discussions

DEVS LISETEN UP...

Before the next update is beyond a state of no return i want to ask the developers to do this exercise; ask yourself and fellow coworkers: "does this ui work adequately right now?"
"what other cool stuff could we add in instead of reinventing the wheel?" (when tire update?) and lastly,
"how many of these changes will be able to be noticed while driving around with UI off?"

^ Note that last one there, if it checks this box then CONGRATULATIONS you are making changes where the majority of playtime is spent for many people. Not this menu that is on my screen for 1 minute, that in the case of the radial wheel is now on my screen for unintentionally longer after the update which is further aggravating. UI changes < 3d stuff

Now for me to go take my frustration out on the race track, I race better when mad so maybe this ui is the new meta.

real, everyone complains like crazy about UI changes with almost every game/software, but they just get used to it after like 2-5 days. It's not a big deal, and change happens. Apparently, Dank Anne Frank is angry because "new UI don't rhyme with grug".

 

The irony of some young people being less tech savvy even though they grew up with computer/software technology...The only UI this dude can probably work is iOS

 

Post is bait but the radial menu changes are pretty annoying. Just to open all hinges it's under like 3 menus. And none of the buttons on the circle have text so you have to hover over them to read it.

Wait so you guys like the ui changes? The radial wheel is worst than ever. The main menu changes were just un necessary just for some more rounded edges and a different color palate. This is not bait, im honestly surprised that more people aren't disliking all of the recent ui changes.

Better get your 5 bucks handy because im still not used to the effed up radial wheel from 2 updates ago. Especially when the devs feel the need to constantly change the layout of the new radial wheel.

The new radial wheel has made all of my radial wheel based interactions longer to do. This is a downgrade, considering the old system worked flawlessly for me for years.
if it aint broke, dont fix it

I personally think it's for the better of most people, now the menu is much more usable with controller + if the game gets new functions it can be easier to add more functionality to it(instead of having a billion submenus), personally I've already gotten used to it, + you can sorta customize it to your liking which you couldn't before

Exactly! The thing the UI needed most was ease of access to stuff with a gamepad or wheel, and this new ui helped a LOT. Also many more options are now available through the radial menu without having to use other menus (changing time of day, clearing tire marks, etc.) Once I got used to it, (took like only a couple days) im now able to access stuff much easier and faster with a wheel or gamepad, or even a keyboard. I love the new changes a lot, (other than the bugs the vehicle config menu has lol) and it makes the game feel more polished and useable.

 

Wow that's a terrible solution. How are you supposed to remove a vehicle? Start AI?

 

1) Remove vehicle with vehicle selector
2) Start traffic by pressing shift + ctrl + T (or shift + ctrl + i if you want for AI to take over your current vehicle)

Maybe solution is terrible, but what else would you provide to a person who literally hates the new radial menu so much he cant use it
