What do the crosses mean? That they will be removed from the remastered mod, that they're not complete yet, or that they're just not derby cars?
Hey, I love the preview, the only thing that I could suggest is if you could add a single rotating beacon on the roof, like that used by the Michigan State Police, Detroit Police or Florida Highway Patrol. Other than that, I appreciate your work and keep it up.
Will add some new light bar and beacon options when I add the Caprice and Impala, they are planned to have lots of different police versions
@Agent_Y I found higher quality recordings of the seatbelt and warning chimes to replace the ones that are in the mod currently
I’m pretty sure the one with the faster cadence is for when you leave the key in or the lights on and the slower one is the seatbelt chime
Ok so I replaced the old one with the fast chime, I'm not using the slow one because there are no seatbelts anyway so idk how a seatbelt chime would work
I would’ve thought you could use it like the 91-96 caprice mod does where it sounds whenever you turn the ignition to “on” or start the engine
Final Parking Space: 1980 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency Diesel Sedan what a specimen. i cant imagine what it takes for a person to shove a hoodscoop and gauges on a car with 100HP
Also what would be cool on the beater trim on the Caprice is the missing chunks out of the chrome on the steering wheels. Very Common problem you never see one in mint condition. I own a 1987 Caprice so if you need any reference picture of anything just let me know.
I have a suggestion regarding the fast and slow alert sounds. As you know, there are four positions for the key in the Ignition Switch. The slow alert sound should be when the car is in the ON position before starting the engine, meaning the lighting systems can be used except for the engine, and then after a few seconds, the sound stops. The fast alert sound should be when the key is in the ACC position. When the car door opens, the fast sound starts, and when the door closes, the sound stops. Additionally, a small and nice feature: when the key is in the Lock position, nothing in the car should work, including the lights, and the steering wheel should be locked to prevent theft, just like in reality.
