There have been graphics bugs on AMD. No reported issues on NVidia.

Thank you. My next question (since I am getting a new GPU soon) is what NVidia card should I get. (I don't know a lot about NVidia)

Would just like to point out that the issues on AMD cards have now been fixed.

it depends on how much performance you want if you want a budget graphics card then look to the 750ti or 760 they deliver performance (even the 750)

$600 IDK but that sounds right

    Would an r9-290 be overkill?

at $600 you can easily afford up to a gtx 980

but for only 1080p no reason to get that, just get a gtx 970 with that resolution and budget

and yes, an r9-290 would be overkill

oh yes, the gtx 970 can easily max any game at 1080p with playable framerates

What would you recommend with a budget of probably $150 or even $100?
