Update Speculation thread

I'm just a little bit worried that people can't read and they will expect the tire model changes next update.

 

It's a pinned comment on most social media but people are dumb so they might miss it.

I wonder how much data they already had for building the current model, because this is not just about thermals, but wear and behaviour too.
From what I understood the current model is quite good already, so the new data is mostly going to change things under edge-case circumstances.
What I hope is that we'll get various updates along the way.
A 'tune' option to increase overall wear could be nice to have, just as having overall wear based on distance alone would be an improvement.

Yeah, probably way too early, but remember, we did get our first teaser for 0.36 pretty early.

EDIT: so 4/2/2025 (v0.35) to 5/27/2025 (first Teaser Tuesday for v0.36) to 6/17/2025 (v0.36) is pretty quick?

 

The only way for devs to not make people cry (that much) about new tire model not coming in 0.37 is to drop some large amount of content. Like a completely new car lots of people requested (idk, a lore RX7 could be a good contender if they go all-in) along with a new map or something.

I assume v0.37 is coming in late August or early September, therefore, @catchow1977 is right, I am too early, and the first Teaser Tuesday will arrive by either late July or early August

 

hey ? if they make tire wear they can make a system on carrer mode like: you buy your car, if you drive too long with his old tire, they will be less performant and they can explode so you will need to change them every "exemple" 5 000 kilometers
