People have posted fixed abandoned mods in the past, I'm sure it's fine.

While I would love the SB10 to work, I think it would be wrong to post it because Dummiesman said he didn't want them reposted.

Are you just parroting what someone said on the previous page or did you see him say this? It seems out of character for him to outright reject reposting his mods (especially when fixed/improved), so this is certainly strange to hear.

"Die a hero or live long enough to become the villain"

Not giving permission to even just release patches, especially once he's abandoned everything and moved on in life. C'mon man, that's just..you know...

I'm not a lawyer, but if patches are completely organic, then I don't think there's any legal president to prohibit its distribution, even against the developers wishes. Maybe Beam devs just want to respect modders wishes regardless.

Not true. The Delta 88 wasn't allowed to receive patches because Agent_Y was already working on refreshing the mod.
Ok, but that's your mod, not Dummiesman's. I don't see how that is related to the discussion at hand.

I get what you're saying, this is not a hot thread (not yet at least) and we're not talking about ripping off a mod, but still this forum is public, so any endorsement is public.
