    Pc Specs: RTX 4070

    5200 MT/s 32GB ram

    I9-13900kf

    2k Res monitor

    -----------------------------

I've noticed that my ram is constantly at 90%+ usage, even without traffic and averaging around 70 frames on High settings (Not even Ultra). When using traffic, my ram is always at 100% which I would assume is normal, but my frames absolutely plummet to 10 fps with massive stutters. I've tried running the game in safe mod with no mods and the same thing seems to happen. I used to get higher FPS with the same settings on my older pc... I need some solutions please!

First of all close all those other programs like Chrome, Spotify and bongocat (?)

also do you have two anti virus? Avast and malwarebytes? Why not just Microsoft defender?

And lastly, don't check performance with mod cars like that Dodge. Use good old D-Series

    Hey,

    I have a PC with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 96GB of DDR5 RAM, and a RTX 5090, playing at ultra settings at 4K.

Right now, I have let the game use both the CCDs (the one with 3D V-Cache (logical processors 0-15) and the frequency ones (16-31). Even with just 12 traffic cars, my FPS drops from above 100 to about 40-50. I also have simplified vehicles turned on for traffic.

Any idea if I would be able to get better FPS by changing any setting, or forcing the game to use the 3D V-Cache cores (halving the core count)?

    Thanks

(posted this here since it's a relatively similar issue)

UPDATE #1: (to help anyone in a similar situation maybe)

    CCD0 (V-Cache): 117-123 FPS
    CCD1 (Freq): 68-73 FPS
    CCD0 (V-Cache) AND CCD1 (Freq): 75-80 FPS

This is with traffic cars set to 12, game paused at a stationary spot on Italy. So the game really prefers cache over more cores or frequency. Use the numbers as relative and not at face value.

    UPDATE #2:

With 32 cars, and in a set location looking a specific direction, here are the results:

    CCD0: 60 FPS
    CCD1: 35 FPS
    Both: 42 FPS
