Nope, stuck at 30 fps, when it used to be 60.

Overall, with the last update, the FPS dropped around 100% or 120% with certain vehicles, wich is a lot.

I don't like the handling with this new tire model at all.
It used to be fine before, but I guess we'll have to wait to see wich way the devs go with the new physicalwheelsomething model :D

Seems like game has patched and it messed up controls. Steering wheel doesnt work anymore, it resets from center to weird position after map load and exiting game brings it back to center again. Restart game and play steering wheel becomes misaligned again, not driveable at all with ffb

Nope. It was removed because it didnt work with pressurewheels so is being rewritten.

that's literally impossible, beamng will not be able to load maps or vehicles or anything without that folder

are you sure your looking in the right place?

I noticed the brake lights on the trunk no longer function, is this supposed to be this way? I liked them personally.

To my knowledge, it's supposed to be like that, like on a gt86/brz/frs

As of a recent update I've begun recieving visual artifacts, same kind on any complex map. Stretched polygons and textures flickering into the sky. This does not occur with any other game, nor did it occur till a recent patch.

    GPU -- AMD Radeon R9 280X

Same for me. If you are also referring to inputmaps, you should create a folder named "custom" where you put your (surprise!) custom inputmaps in, and they will not be altered when the game updates! :)

Ok I was wondering, because they did function as brake lights previously.

Time to leave some feedback from me I think.
The Sunburst is excellent, drives really well and crashes even better. The new tire model is also a lot grippier making it easier to drive, when it is coupled with input filtering I think the driving will nearly be up to standard.

Gotta say one thing that's been bothering me since launch however, when is glass going to be reflective? It always makes the vehicles look off to me. Maybe even have a separate cubemap for inside the car so you get interior reflections a la Forza 5. I just thought that this was worth mentioning as it has always bothered me :)

The tire model is definitely a big change. It has some serious pros and cons.

    Pros:
Straight line stability seems to be much better now, no random drifting around when accelerating.
Vehicles seem to be a bit more responsive, not really any input lag anymore.
Above 10mph and below 35mph feels perfect in any vehicle other than the T series.

    Cons:
Very odd behavior under acceleration and braking, when accelerating the tires jump and bounce / vibrate. Tires lock up too easily now when braking.
Randomly gets vague at certain speeds. Try driving the pigeon above 50mph and doing a shallow turn.. Nothing... nothing.. nothing bam outta control as it suddenly grabs traction.
    Odd jumpy/vibrating behavior when turning.

The rest is awesome. Love the new content etc.

No shit parade here but I prefer the old tire skid model. I'm a freak for skidmarks and 50mph initiation is too fast. Overall something happened to the graphical quality
in the latest update as well. Hirochi Raceway has lost a bit of the smooth, crisp and creamy visuals of 0.7.3.

The tires will be a bit weird while we learn the ins and outs of tuning the new pressureWheel, it is a big change. Skidmarks and sound is just lua, not really the tire model itself so try not to judge by that :) I actually do my tuning with the sound off to make sure I just pay attention to the way the car moves. That way I don't become the guy who thinks his car is faster cause the exhaust got a hole in it :p
