Nice upgrade! Now it's possible to get multiple consistent runs, while still being challenging enough. Good job! Although once I clipped into something invisible on the inside of the "red container" hairpin, after the first jump. It wasn't one of the (annoyingly vicious) logs, and it's half a car length before the apex. But it happened only once, so it's a minor issue for me. Otherwise I tried to do a good run with the Polo and... well, I can't drive it It's way quicker than the Evo IX but, at least for me, it lacks grip mid corner. So what I get in the fast sections, I quickly lose in the tighter stuff. And if I try to push it, it's a bit too unforgiving for me and my keyboard, and I usually end upside down with three wheels still attached So far I've got a new best of 2:06:33 with the Evo, but I'll try again with the Polo. It deserves a good run
Alright, i'll definitely check that out, might be a stump under the ground or something. The polo has so much power I tended to throw it into the corner with a load of oversteer instead of cornering and then just power out haha.
Yeah, that's what I figured I had to do to exploit the massive acceleration out of the corner, and when I get it right I'm like "Hell yeah, awesome!" Next thing I know I'm in ditch, covered in petrol, on fire
How do you run such fast times! I got a 2:56.30 in a Rally Subaru 22B 360 controller. Definitely needs improvement. I hope it's just me that's slow. It was my first time on the map too.
Nice track! I like it a lot, despite it being more of a rally track I decided I just had to do a few go's with my Jeep and this is one of the 2 laps I finished (didnt record the first time), it's a 2:13. I think it held up pretty decent for a 1.9 metric tonne 360bhp hardcore offroad vehicle. I'll try with the 620bhp LSX option another time ;D
You can say that! It looks like you're doing an amazing work with that jeep, can't wait to try it out. And Braindead, this little track is awfully addictive Thanks to this I've been on a quest to find fast cars (that my computer can run at a decent FPS rate...) and found a folder with tons of mods I had never installed since BeamNG.drive went on Steam. So I rediscovered JDMClark's Covet GTi. Man, that thing is fun! It's also pretty easy to drive fast and a got a new best of 2:04.49 (6MT Stock), but the car feels like it has a bit too much grip to be realistic, at least compared to the official cars. So if you don't want to put it in the board, it's totally understandable
I'd make sure you're playing V1.1 of the map, it's a fair amount faster than the original version. Nice time, nice video, and nice vehicle! I did create it with replay value in mind so I'm pretty happy with how it's ended up I guess I won't add the GTi to the table as it's more a mod of an official vehicle than a user created new one. Still, nice time though. The tarmac/asphalt version of the track is coming along nicely, I'm using mesh road to try and make it as smooth as possible. Mesh road doesn't feel right though, I'm not sure it has the correct handling characteristics of the concrete ground spray. All the cars seem to understeer their asses off and slide all over the place, but maybe I'm just imagining it.
I manged to get a 2:12.79 with the Sunburst 2.0 AWD Rally (DCT), took some doing! (I used the Xbox One controller).
Hi there, I was going to play your map until i got stuck at loading the map. This is what is got: Maybe you can give me some tips for not getting this message. Or is there something wrong with the map? Kind regards, YarnevdLoo
Unfortunately I'm not quite sure I haven't heard of anyone else having the error so it seems strange. Have you made sure that the map is unzipped? I know that the map will load from the zipped file but comes up with a lot of errors. And if you have a zipped and an unzipped version both in the levels folder it may be choosing to load the zipped version. Only think I can think of sadly.
I have unzipped the map and the zipped file is not in the levels folder of beamng. Why do I always have this.
I have placed the map in the steamfolder not in my documents. I don't you what you mean with your reaction :/
2:41.0 with Moonhawk Special Took about 40 tries, and did it with a bent front end Do you need a video for proof? EDIT: using a PS3 controller
I have been getting that same error (actually 2 errors) but if I just hit OK (sometimes have to alt tab into the error and hit enter because it wont let me select it) I can get into the level just fine. I haven't had any issues with the level after I go past those errors either so I don't think whatever it can't create causes any trouble. Anyway... Haha! 1:51 with the ragdoll version of the gavril D15 off road a keyboard and mouse! PROOF! (sorry, youtube seems to be really jacking up the quality of my videos right now and MSI afterburner didn't get any audio for some reason, I tried 2 times with different trans coding settings and both times it looked fine before the upload but not after. Hell this video was transcoded with the same settings!) ....Ok so maybe I took a little shortcut but, you didn't say anything about that being bad! You just said start the time when you go past the bars and end it when you hit the container. I should go find a helicopter to do this with! Your Fiend, Rabid_Imperial_Guardsman
got a 2:48 using the Ilbishu 200 bx auto with the keyboard, took so many attempts, but finally got around the track
When I get this error Beamng.drive stops responding. So I can't go back to the game and I need to close force it...
