I understand that some people are frustrated and saying “you always cancel mods” or “you’re not good modelers.” Honestly, part of that comes from our past experiences. Some projects didn’t make it to release because we tried to do too much too fast, and we’ve learned from that. Nobody becomes a skilled modder overnight, and learning comes from trying, failing, and improving. This time, we are taking those lessons seriously and working step by step with realistic goals.

Right now, the only visible change is the reworked taillights, and even those are not finished yet. That’s why we haven’t opened a full thread or posted lots of screenshots. Posting half-done details doesn’t really help anyone and would give a wrong impression of the final quality. The project is progressing, but it’s the kind of behind-the-scenes work that isn’t always exciting to share. When the taillights and other differences are ready, you’ll see them, and the full thread will reflect the effort we’ve put in.

Please understand that modding is something we do in our free time. We have responsibilities, other projects, and lives outside of BeamNG, so progress isn’t always instant. Saying “there’s no progress” doesn’t match reality, because work is happening, just not in ways that are immediately visible. We’d rather take the time to create one polished and enjoyable mod than rush something incomplete just to satisfy impatience.

Constructive criticism is always welcome, but pure negativity doesn’t help anyone. Some of the harshest critics haven’t even made a mod themselves, which makes their judgment less relevant. Every skilled modder started somewhere, and support and patience are what really make projects succeed. At the end of the day, this is something we do because we enjoy it, and we want the community to enjoy it too. Once things are ready, the results will speak for themselves.
