hey uh let me know how the twotone coloring works when you figure it out, im trying to figure out how to make skins (specifically rusted ones)
two or three tone liveries work by different colours in the livery texture, red is primary green is secondary and third is white here is the two tone i made for the car
OOOOOOHHHHHH sooo thats why the skin i was editing had those colors, but it showed up different. thanks. also if you dont mind me asking how do you get the skin to show up in the parts selector? i never quite figured out how that worked either lol
there is a mod for ingame vehicles called skin helper or something like that and it should have everything you need, i also very recomend the BNGFplus livery tutorial!
I have some questions if that's okay. Will this stay true to the Spec Racecars IRL? or will you add different gearboxes? (i.e. Sequential with a shifter, or sequential with paddles,...) I was also wondering, if you were open to adding some not true to irl things, and assuming the body can be separated from the chassis, what about different bodies? Open wheel, Closed cockpit, more aero focused bodies, etc. I was also wondering about the differentials these cars used, Thank you for your answers! (I am really just asking, not begging or suggesting anything) --- Post updated --- *I missed that it already has a sequential gearbox, I thought these had a manual H-pattern, sorry!
So I think for now it will stay close to IRL but maybe ill add extra engine and drivetrain options, about the body types i might add little changes like those cool nascar roof spoilers or simple aero modifications, but i am thinking on just keeping it as close to Real life for now Thanks for the questions and suggestions!
the nascar roof "spoilers" are actually called roof flaps, they are made to prevent blowovers (when a car goes airbone by spinning out at a high speed and producing lift in the rear), idk how that would work on this car tho.
i might add them on the sides or something but we will see, but if i ever make it it wont be realeased straight away but rather in an update
