sometimes I want to order my jbeam variables in the tuning menu, it doesn't seem to be alphabetical, and sometimes to make sense, I'd like to set their order, like you do with keybinding stuff. Is this possible?

I'd also like to know if this is possible with part slots? I know they can be set to alphabetical, but I'd like to put some slots next to each other, so it's easier to find things. In the non alphabetical ordering, can anyone tell me what it determines the order by?

Variables should always be alphabetically sorted by the displayed name. Parts are alphabetically sorted by the internal name by default, but it can change depending on your settings in the parts selector, for example parts with their own sub-slots can be at the bottom of the list.

oh hey, I now see how variables are set by their "name" not the "title", I'm kicking myself that I never realised this. Similarly with the slot name, thanks :) now to start naming things aaa1_suspension_f lol
