And if they're after realism, I'd say Javi's Classic Engine Expansion Pack is a good one with near identical replicas of older pickups/suvs. (Blazer, Little Red Express, etc.)
I also don't like the nomenclature in the mod, it's really confusing and hard to tell if it's from the mod or if the parts are compatible with each other.
Going off from my experience with the mod, and having done quite a bit of modifying it/fixing it myself, what SF1NX said, it's really only if you like the Chevy/GMC stuff that it's heavily based upon and there is a bit of knowledge needed to figure out which stuff to get rid of from the mod so that it doesn't brick other stuff in the game. There is progress, but it's very slow, and I do believe there are fixes that are available to download without any extra cost, but yeah, would've been better if it'd been included already, but it's all in retro's discord server. Also, for compatible parts, everything that's mechanical and probably to some extent, some cosmetic stuff is compatible with the vanilla D-series, but generally everything is all sequestered off for their own respectable bodies or whichever. So yeah, all in all, decent mod if you want to play around with a bunch of GM related stuff, but I'd say not really "suited" for someone to just jump in right away, since like I said, it takes a bit to get it running smoothly. Anyway, I bet Finn would appreciate if he'd like his thread to not go further off topic lol.
