I finally got around to UV mapping the Scarab and texturing it, which now means the color selector works, now I need a default color.. Thoughts? It seems its between these two..
At Banpei, we strive engineering perfection to ensure you can travel with the comfort of knowing that the suspension does not wiggle or explode. Unfortunately, physics dislikes stable suspension... Luckily, we now know how to make shiny colours and sexy wheels If you know how to remove a wiggle, please do tell us how (I should figure it out eventually, but less frustrating explosions would be better) If you can paint the rollcage, then: Yellow panels/brown cage or pink panels/green rollcage
Hey, I tried texturing the headlights for a bit and I would love some critique, as I am a bit insecure about them...I would really apreciate every single criticism (don't hold back!) Thanks!
They don't look warped or anything, but they look pretty washed out and low resolution. I'd suggest adding a bit of saturation to them to see where they end up. Also, the picture made me notice a slight inaccuracy in the model itself. The crease in the car on your model around the light doesn't really exist on the real one, it follows the light much more tightly on the real car with more of a curve. (imported from here)
so there is a already a wrecker but you havent in cluded it is that what your saying if so i salute you sir
Thanks for that great spot I tried to fix it. I still need to soften those edges a bit. Also both of you are right about the bluryness of the texture. I need to put more time into it. I might start a thread for the Del Sol soon, since I really need some feedback and I don't want to turn this into the Sol thread
No. The quoted screenshot of a wrecker being made for a T75 has modded the T75 dae file and broken the smoothing groups. The current ingame T75 upfits are in a separate .dae which proves that the original .dae file for the T75 doesnt need modding in order to add new upfits without breaking the smoothing groups. A wrecker upfit should also go in a separate file. currently its semi.dae and semi_upfits.dae Multi-dae is a wonderful feature. Can confirm there is no wrecker in the published t75 dae files. semi_upfits.dae contains parts for a 5th wheel and the cargo box (including a sliding door, also present on the H series cargo box, neither are beamed in game though ). semi.dae contains just the 2 frames, cab and running gear. Theoretically replacement cabs (such as a sleeper) could also be added to new .dae files, as can trailers and extra upfits.
