Hope we are soon going to get a fix for 2.5.2 with all the LUA script exceptions i get, so I'm currently running version 2.5!!! I'm kind of new to BeamNG. Does anyone know a great utility to go through the logs, instead of doing it manually?
The new v2,5,2 has missing textures on the west coast hope you wil fix it soon (btw great mod i can´t play beamNG with out it)
and its broken again....... using only the 2.5.2 update and nothing else.. played one session and went to load my save and got another LUA error and crash to desktop.
Topic TAXI : Does the star rating start when you pick up the passenger, or does it start when you accept the ride ? For example : When you accept a business ride, you must be fast, the faster the better tip. Does it matter how fast you arrive at the pick up, is the pick up time included in the tip and/or star rating ?
@Raceless I like the look of the new Dealership page, sometimes however there is a delay of more then 2 seconds (up to 10 seconds sometimes) loading the page. Where 1 or 2 seconds is the norm. (which i would put below 1 second if that would be possible, as this page is quiet important and used often)
I have found something wired related to missing textures. If i load up a freeroam map and go into editing the UI and remove the minimap from the career freeroam overlay. Now my career save loads perfectly, but if i go in and add back the minimap my game hangs!!! Also i have noticed when it's loading the minimap a 2'nd window opens besides the BeamNG window. Is Beam using a HTML render for it's overlay?

Even driving as the grandest grandma of them all, every time only 1 star... luxury taxi is impossible, but I don't get any other customers in my 240k ETK 900. Does anybody know how to mod the mod and take out the stupid luxury taxi customers? Solution edit: open your RLS_career_overhaul_X.zip and delete the luxury.lua in \lua\ge\extensions\gameplay\taxiPassengers\
Just an idea: Maybe Taxi could be devided in taxi branches each with it's specialty. So you as a taxi driver decide which type of taxi career you want. Or you as a taxi driver decide before your shift which type of customers you serve. * any customers (Fast, business, emergency, crime) * drive according to the law type of customers * Luxury / executive for the Limosine drivers * Busses and trucks for the Tourists
Go into your autosave files and delete the most recent save file. There's normally three in there, so you might want to delete the last two and leave the oldest one just to be sure. You'll find them here... AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\current\settings\cloud\saves
Topic : Insurance The "apply paint when repairing" and "quick repair" do not save, and so for example, the cars all get a fresh new coat of paint after each crash every time. I can't find a way to get it back so replaced parts have that default grey colour.
I must admit: I'm not one who typically responds to forum posts but after spending countless hours and days trying to tweak the AI police aggression in the original BNG files and utterly failing, I found your posting and decided to give it a try.. I have now spent 5 consecutive hours playing this mod and have enjoyed being able to have to a challenging / fun career progression! So many cool things i'm still finding out about it! Few funny things I will add, incase it's something you want to leave in or fix it later: -When riding in a Taxi to a location, you can toggle the AI transmission from "Arcade" to "Realistic" while its driving and its hilarious to watch it go a speed limit of 35mph to 50mph when you change it from Drive to 2 (I believe that's overdrive in automatic vehicles) -Throw it into Neutral while sitting at a redlight and the AI will rev the engine continuously -Throw it in Reverse and it will back up and ram into other cars until you decide to switch it back. Absolutely LOVE this man! Thank you for the continuous dedication!
Topic Car Jockey : Leveling up The way it works for me is to have your car parked at let's say the "Smash Rollers" buildings. And there you can do some Car Jockey missions. Every time you have completed a mission, you can take a Taxi for 50 coins, or take a TelePort Taxi to your last car that is parked at "smash rollers", for a couple of hunderd ( around 250 coins). At some point you can park your car at some other building where you will have higher level missions. Some of the shorter missions are very short, yet you still earn 6 car jockey points. The leveling up goes pretty fast this way.
I have 2 questions - 1. Does this mod, or rather most of its features, work in freeroam (not career) mode? 2. Can modded traffic police cars spawn as traffic automatically in career? (I have a police config for Maxie's Crown Victoria mod that is set to 'PropTraffic')
Something I noticed is that the Rolling Chassis models that this mod adds do sometimes take up traffic slots, and cause issues with traffic patterns. Is that a fixable issue?
Can you please tell me how to disable police in the game? I couldn't find the "no_police" mod, so I found it on a file-sharing site, but the file was only 126 bytes long and there was an empty text file inside it. I tried installing the downloaded mod, but nothing changed and the police still appeared in the game. Can someone please provide me with a link to a working "no_police" mod or a guide on how to disable the police in the game?
In the main menu press more and then in the bottom right there should be a menu called "overhaul manager" press that then check "no police mode". so again, more>overhaul manager>no police mode. hope this helps
Its unplayable for me. When i create new save it just copies files with money from my previous save (I had a save with 1.8k and a car, created a new save and i had 1.8k but no car). I cant buy cars, when i do so it doesnt take money from my account and i just kinda get the car for free but it doesnt appear on my cars list, so I cant tune it or repair it. I can just drive it till i crash it and it becomes undriveable. I have the newest version of this mod BTW
