Today I Present! The 1999-2017 Gavril Buffalo AUV Lore: Gavril needed a new car to compete against the new 1997 Ibishu Parakeet which had been newly introduced in Southeast Asia, so they came up with their own car called the Gavril Buffalo, which is a 10 seater Body on Frame AUV based on the Gavril Roamer platform but shortened to the dimensions similar to the Ibishu Parakeet, it is powered by either a 2.0 L I4 gasoline engine from the Ibishu Pessima MK2 or a 2.5 L I4 diesel engine joint developed by Cherrier and ETK, which they got via licenses. In real life, this car is based on the 2001-2017 Isuzu Crosswind and the 1997-2017 Mitsubishi Adventure. The 2001 Facelift After the success of the 1999 release, Gavril decided to refresh the model by updating the front end to look like the 1999 facelift of the Gavril Roamer and also changed the rear doors from swing-type to conventional type to save sideward space, this refresh made the Gavril Buffalo more popular across Southeast Asia especially the Philippines. The 2005 Facelift After the 1999-2005 Gavril Roamer is discontinued, Gavril decided it would instead facelift the existing Gavril Buffalo to be more car-like instead of designing a whole new car to replace the Gavril Buffalo to save costs, hence the introduction of the 2005 model, which featured a car-like front end, vertical rear tail lamps, and redesigned interior. The 2011 and 2015 Minor Refreshes To keep the 2005 model running fresh and up to date, Gavril released annual refreshes of the 2005 model in 2011 and 2015 respectively, which added more car features to the AUV like digital radios, cooler A/C units, two tone paint, nicer rims, and most importantly, a rear window wiper in the 2015 refresh, it was discontinued in 2017 after several countries implemented stricter emission standards like the Philippines, in which the Gavril Buffalo didn't comply due to it's old platform and old engines which originated in the 90's, and it was replaced by the Gavril Roamer XT, a much more modern redesign of the Gavril Roamer.
