Eagle owner here, and yeah, the Campagne is kind of similar, although the transfer case is completely different.

Minor Bug: The LeGran's dash lights uses both the period-accurate warning lights and the modern generic lights as well for some reason. The modern generic lights should be removed.
    Screenshot3216.png

Another thing to note is that the default driver camera sitting position is unusually high up compared to other cars.

Also, I would like to see the lights and glass get updated to the more current standard, because even after its remaster, the LeGran is starting to show its age.

(This is copied from my post, which I made a while ago, and it didn't get seen by the devs, so I'll post all the vehicle bugs in their separate thread.)

Agreed. The LeGran is my default, and it's annoying when I can see through the roof in driver cam with the FOV set to only 60 degrees! And how did I not know about the "Tailgate Ajar"?? That's great!

Also, the Wagon got some new taillights with its facelift (with larger square reverse lights) but, for some reason, the Sedan hasn't gotten them yet.

Not to mention that the rev limiters are quite inaccurate on the LeGran. The Lansdale, which shares the same engines, has much more accurate rev limits, so I hope they can update the ECUs to have more accurate rev limits.

So, with the Miramar now able to produce over 400 hp from its turbo 1.9L four-cylinder, it now has a higher peak power output than this car, which can only get up to around 340 hp at most without nitrous.

I'm surprised the LeGran didn't get the V8 from the Wendover, since both cars were worked on and released at the same time - was this because the V8 wouldn't fit? The inline-fours and V6s can fit just fine, and the V8's only a smidge longer than the V6s. However, even if the LeGran were to get the Soliad V8, it still has a big issue to content with compared to the I-Series, '88 Pessima, and even '96 Pessima - weight. I understand that lighter Jbeams make a car more unstable in crashes (it's one of the reasons why we didn't get a modern supercar until 2022). However...

-The '88 Pessima GTZ is the same weight as the first-gen Galant VR-4 (1380 kg), while being around the same size (only 4cm shorter and 2cm wider)
-The I-Series 2400ti TTSport weighs only 20 kg more than the first-gen BMW M5 (1450 kg vs. 1430 kg), while being around the same size (only 6cm longer)
-The '96 Pessima 2.7 LX V6 weighs the same as a V6 Mk6 Accord Coupe (1430 kg), while being around the same size (only 4cm longer)

Meanwhile, the LeGran starts at 1455 kg for a Regulier sedan (about 200 kg more than a base '86 Cutlass Ciera), and the SE V6 AWD version weighs 1660 kg (the same as the larger and more modern Chrysler 300M 3.5). A 3.3 V6-equipped Olds Cutlass Ciera weighs around 1310 kg. The S V6 LeGran sedan weighs 1540-1550 kg. Even the all-wheel-drive Pontiac 6000 STE only weighed around 1530 kg.

I've got no clue why the LeGran weighs so much and is so underpowered - was this to make it different from the Pessimas and I-Series? Because it worked...but it also means that the LeGran's not very competitive with those cars (let alone the Sunburst, FCV, Bastion, or K/800). I'm not saying that the LeGran has to be as light as the Cutlass Ciera, but a 200+ kg difference between similar cars is immense and baffling.

What's even crazier is that it used to weigh a lot less - back when it first released in 0.8, the LeGran weighed between 1365-1420 kg.

Considering the remaster added all wheel drive to the LeGran, it'd be a weird way to go about it. I think that having there be overlap between the niches of different cars is a good thing but there is a limit to it — I appreciate the option of all wheel drive on the LeGran but having it on a factory performance config brings it a little too close to the Mk1 Pessima. It does make me wonder what we'll get with a remastered Mk1 Pessima though, considering the Covet and BX had their turbocharged configurations changed to be JDM-exclusive.

That is fair enough, but the LeGran still is fairly different in its engine variety (supercharged inline-fours and V6s vs. turbocharged inline-fours) and its rear suspension design (transverse leaf spring and A-arms vs. multilink/semi-trailing-arm). So, I feel like the LeGran getting AWD isn't too big of an overlap.

The Covet and BX didn't have turbocharged factory configurations for a long while - the Covet's top-line 1.5 ZXi (and 2.0 GTz from 0.21 onwards) were both N/A, as was the BX's Type-LS. I believe the old Sport Covet config was turbo'd, but the Covet didn't get a properly-modeled turbo until 0.5.

However, while I think it's fairly likely that the '88 Pessima GTz will become JDM-only after its remaster, I feel like it could still be sold in the US as-is. The first-gen Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 was sold in the US (3,000 of them, no less). We also had a few other turbo'd Japanese cars of the era, like the Subaru XT and GL, the Mitsubishi Starion and Colt (although the latter was sold as a Dodge), and the third-gen Toyota Supra.

Perhaps it will be a similar approach to the Covet, where the JDM GTz uses the current 2.0L twin-cam inline-four, while the US-market GTz gets the 2.7L V6 from the '96 Pessima (or the 2.4L inline-four from the 240BX, although I hope it's the former).

you're correct about it not fitting, but only just; even when using the extra room afforded by the I4's transmission placement (which is 40mm further to the left than with the V6), the waterpump pulley just barely interferes with what I suppose is a power steering line.
even without that, there's only about 3.2mm until the rest of the pulleys would rub against the chassis rail- this would be far too tight to actually install the engine in the car, or leave enough room for the movement expected from normal operation.

on the wendover however, all 3 engines use the same transmission placement, thanks to the extra room left by the wider chassis rails.

Personally, I think having more upgrades available for the V6s would be a good option; there are plenty of Buick 3800 V6s that have been built to make >600hp.

Yeah, figured that would be the case - even just eyeballing it, the inline-four seemed like a tight fit in the LeGran. I wasn't aware that it was shifted over compared to the V6s, though.

And hopefully, those upgrades could also be applied to the Soliads - one thing that the '90s Bruckells lack compared to the modern ETKs, FCV, '96 Pessima, BX, and Bastion is a way to make ~500hp+ with two different engine types.

I honestly think there should be a Soliad rebadge of the LeGran/sedan version of the Wendover.

The Wendover originally was going to be a sedan, so it would be cool to see it brought into the game.

Side note- the LeGran platform would make a killer light truck, same with the 88 Pessima.

Indeed, it was originally going to be a sedan. I also agree that the Wendover could still receive a sedan - all three of the GM H-Body vehicles of its era (Pontiac Bonneville, Olds 88, Buick LeSabre) were available as sedans. (The Bonneville was only a sedan for its eighth generation.) However, Gabe made it into a coupe because he thought that people had had their fill of '80s FWD sedans. Which is fair enough, considering how many people thought the Wendover would be too similar to the LeGran. Also:

-The 800 Series only got a sedan in 0.28, even though IRL, cars of its class (BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, Merc C-Class) were all available as coupes at the time. (The A5 was the coupe/convertible version of the A4, the 4-Series was the coupe/convertible spin-off of the 3-Series). This is likely because of the K-Series, which shares its platform with the 800 Series.
-The Covet didn't get a 5-door or sedan variant - I'm not sure why it didn't get the former, but the latter likely would've been too close to the '88 Pessima for the devs.
-The '96 Pessima didn't get a wagon or coupe in its remaster - probably because the LeGran already covered the wagon area, and the Wendover already existed for FWD coupes. It probably also didn't get AWD because the LeGran and '88 Pessima already had that.

It's a bit of a shame that the devs don't bother with fleshing out the body style roster for many of the vehicles (except for the D-Series, which has variants similar to three other vehicles (four-door Kentarch (Roamer), D45 (H45), crawler frames (Hopper Crawler)). While I understand that mods can fill these gaps, IMO, mods should be more about adding more specialized variants onto an already complete vehicle, not compensating for a lack of standard content for it. It's why I don't mind the Miramar not having a wagon - its coupe and ute bodies are different enough from the sedan that it feels like a (mostly) complete car.
