In all honesty it'd probably something like 15 seconds to 60 mph. With our current rolling resistance it probably wouldn't even go 90 mph :(

With the current 2.0 making ~140 hp, it's reasonably quick and can go over 100 mph.

I get a small feeling that there's going to be a previous gen 200BX pop up someday with less melty bodywork design, something that's more 3rd gen prelude inspired.

I'd prefer the 1st gen over the 3rd gen.

An older 200BX (say late 70s/early 80s) would be very nice, though I would imagine that it would be more in the spirit of early 80s RWD Japanese cars (perhaps a fusion of S110 Silvia, TA63 Celica and HB Cosmo)

I was thinking more because of gabester's new love in life, his own 3rd gen prelude XD

But what about a 1.5l turbo or even twin turbo. Does beg the question why not a 2.0 turbo instead though.

Yeah, 1.5 litres is a bit small for a car of this size (generally only cars lighter that 1000kg have a 1.5l engine, i.e an AE86 sized car). 2 litre turbo would suit nicely (though perhaps only a JDM option). Of course, there is also aftermarket engines and turbos...

While the mesh is a bit iffy (although I do not know if its been reworked, think gabester hinted at it possibly having been updated and the leaked version (which I have) being older), it does already have a turbo available.

I will say the leaked version is incredibly promising. Its king of the WIPs without having any JBeamed doors, bumpers, fenders etc (although they are in the mesh), but for a totally stripped out vehicle it drives quite nicely, should be a good drive once it is laden with all the other bits (bit skittish with no weight on the likely untuned suspension).

Yes, Mitch has started work on the body/suspension/underbody texture (UVs are finished). Nothing to show just yet. Stay tuned ;)

Backwards. I design the car, model the shell, Mitch models the underbody/engine/suspension/etc. and UVs and textures it, and I do the jbeam.

Pretty much. Was looking for someone to do all that work that I'd gotten sick of, then saw Mitch's bomber and we immediately hired him :)
