Are PAID Mods Are As Bad As People Say??

It is well known that I dislike paid mods (mostly because im a cheapskate who doesn't believe in "small" DLC's), but I will admit, the quality ones are usually really great and worth the price if you have extra cash to spend. But the introduction of paid mods opened the door to a landslide of overpriced mod slop with barely any effort just for a quick buck. And as far as I know, have reduced the flow of free quality full-vehicle mods on the forums.

I personally think a paid early access model (where the mod is actually released), or a buymeacoffee (or other completely optional tip system), model is better. That way those with extra cash can get the mod early and/or support the creator, and those without money (or dont want to spend it on someone elses hobby) can get it. That way the creator who spent time on the mod still gets some cash, but everyone benefits, and not just those who are willing to shill out an extra few bucks.

I don't think paid mods are going anytime soon, but I do believe they could be managed better. I think it would be better if the forums and the Repo had a dedicated paid mod section that was controlled, much like the in-game repo. That way we could have a safer (and if an in-game paid repo is implimented... More readily available...) way to get paid and early access mods.

Nothing against @Danny the Sniper (maybe just a bad part in live) but i would probably report him so he gets a break or a warning from a moderator (no permanente bann)

 

im pretty sure hes been reported in this convo multiple times by multiple people, id actually be surprised if he wasnt banned considering how big of a crashout hes had

 

After seeing all that stuff from him, I dont even know how people can respect him. Before this, I had at least some respect to him, I thought that he had at least 1% of understanding other people. Well, I guess I was wrong.
I hope he will have a really good break, as big as it needs for him to understand that his actions are not healthy.
