Released Macau-Guia Grand Prix Circuit

    My first mod!



    An AC port of a track that means a great deal to me :) I'll make a lore-friendly version if you guys would like. I have a few other ports of mine saved- Lydden Hill, Goodwood Circuit, and a WIP (because it's a MUCH harder port) of Circuit de la Sarthe (I plan to do full lighting on the le mans one, but I'll release it half-baked if you guys want since its already better than any one I could find online. Really, I'm just not posting them all right now because I don't want to flood the forums.

    "Thanks for downloading commdef's Macau tracks for BeamNG! :) Please drag this zip into your 'levels' folder (NOT 'mods', it doesn't work on 0.37 for some reason), unzip it and it should work correctly.

    Credits: assettocorsa.club, which sadly does not tell me who made this track... If you know, PLEASE tell me!)

    Known issues:
    -One no texture on the straight after turn 3, on the left. I'm struggling to fix this, sorry!
    -Map image is empty.

    Planned additions (maybe):
    -Night lighting (If you knew how hard this was..! But I'll do it if this is popular lol)
    -A level select screen image
    -Some redone textures
    -A version with canon sponsors
    -Improve rain version graphics
    -Once lights are added, a day/night cycle

    I think the wrong structure in the zip file is the reason for this.

    It should be levels/macau not commdef's Macau/macau then it should work in the mods folder

    i tried it and it works in the mod folder

    I crashed in the barrier and got stuck in the red white sign. Should it be that way ?

    I can't get the map to show up. Can someone give me like a guide on how to get the map to work? Thanks a lot in advance.

    Download the file, open it with winrar (or other archive sw), rename the first folder "commdefs macau" to "levels", save changes, put it into "\mods\repo" folder

    that's what i did

    or unzip only the "macau" folder into the levels folder like described at the beginning, that should work too, not "commdefs macau\macau", i think that won't work

    other than that, maybe the mod is not activated ? you have to check that ingame repository

    I can confirm that Frathai's suggestion fixes the mod. Also, whilst it looks and drives great, a circuit map isn't much use without at least a time trial (if not AI races) and I highly encourage you to add that. You can find a comprehensive tutorial here:
