Kids nowadays aren't educated on internet safety and smarts. They probably don't even know what a digital footprint is.

Dude, why does this ALWAYS happen to me? I release a mod, so ppl come over and start hating on it and then I have to cancel the mod but I just wanted people to enjoy more content for an amazing game like BeamNG :(

For starters, my suggestion would at least be having the grille RESEMBLE as other ETKs (aka the snout). Also the engine choices could be reusing previous generation, along with naming too.

At least for me I am not, I just want to see some consistency among the mods that are based upon the same brand.

Another thing I almost forgot, the gauges and the lights too, they could reuse with @JustRobertOFF 's 2005 ETK 800 mod's lights (headlights and gauges too). For the engine choices, it could use I4s and I6s, see this Beta - Sunburst-pro | BeamNG here for referencing in terms of porting the ETK-based I4 and I6 engines.

or you could add one more euro or so, and get a high quality mod like the Picnic, or the Signia

I understand, but the problem is: this isn't more content. in its current form its essentially a vanilla Sunburst. doesn't change the fact that the "Ferdinand" mod you tried to get on the repo turned out to be someone else's Panamera that you just edited the badges of and tried to play it as your own creation.

like i said, you could start off with something simpler like bumpers, spoilers, wings, etc. for vanilla cars, then move on to something like cars as you get more experience. people aren't hating for no reason, they're hating because rebadging a vanilla car by changing a texture and not actually adding anything the vanilla car doesn't have is just the lowest effort "mod" you could think of. it really doesn't do anything to differentiate itself from a vanilla car, so it really just clutters up the forums, repo, and the repo moderators who have to approve it.
that's at least this mod. the Panamera people got mad because you stole someone's work, changed a texture, and then played it off as your own work (even changed the jbeam file to have your name. shameless).

im not trying to get you to quit the modding altogether, im just saying: try to actually put effort into them, and start small.

So, basically, this goober "rebadged" the Sunburst as an ETK (though they didn't actually change the badges), and now has doubled down by selling this nothingburger of a mod for three bucks?

What do you mean "didnt change the badges"? I DID change the badges. Are you saying that and using an outated version of the mod? bruh

It was early access BEFORE I posted the update on the repo

I mean, it's still the Sunburst with basically zero changes. Also, I'm not using the mod at all, because it's not worth space on my hard drive.
