Im just gonna ignore any further name suggestions, since i already decided with Opel/Vauxhall Frontera name. Also there is chinese version planned (Frontera was produced in China til 2016 under Landwind brand), i will call it Changcheng R600 (changcheng means great wall, any chinese speakers can improve this if its not right)

well the Landwind X6/X9 is based on the old Isuzu MU platform so I guess thats close enough not really a rebadge though and now that I was looking at greatwall cars omg theyre ugly

I suggest naming it "烽火"(Fenghuo), which comes from the beacon towers on ancient city walls such as the Great Wall - The name reference to the real-life Great Wall cars, but not so direct.
[In addition,in real life, there is also a Chinese communication technology company named after the word '烽火'. (烽火通信科技/Wuhan Fiberhome International Technologies)]

In fact, there are many of early Chinese cars based on Toyota Hilux and Isuzu Pickups, not just Lanwind and Great Wall.
