I can't help much technically with modeling or vinyl creation, but I can provide some images of the machine... (By the way, this machine has an M Sports body kit.)

Super Excited! I have enjoyed your "half-assed" mod for years and it was the best one of the Impreza that I could find, so hearing that you're working on a revamp is incredibly exciting! I own a GC8, Swiss "Collection" Special Edition that i've been working on for almost a year but something always goes to sh- anyway so I'm curious to what extent you are willing to take that "every special edition" to lol. Can't wait!

I've been off the forums for a few years, but dang man... this mod alone is going to bring me out of retirement! Awesome looking work so far on the changes to the old mod. I am happy to see the hard work you have put into this and look forward to an official release.

 

What sounds for the impreza are you looking for exactly? I can most likely get em for you.

Vanilla BeamNG sounds are close enough.
As for door chimes, you could ask the creator of this mod to potentially help out in adding them: https://www.beamng.com/resources/start-up-and-warning-chime-pack.35948/

Vanilla beam sounds are not good enough, they don't sound very good ngl

 

oh ok.. well all Subaru mods i've used have that low quality rumble sound, vanilla sounds, or HellRaiser's EJ257
I've seen engine sound mods that people got from real recordings. Maybe you can get in contact with them

 

Im most likely going to wait for when I sti swap my irl RS and record the sounds from there
