I spawn a new vehicle and I press Ctrl-Shift-I to engage autopilot, which means it is then driven by AI, fine. Now I would like to have this car drive faster, really faster. How can I do this? I know how to have the AI traffic drive faster with the Traffic App but this is not what I want here. I would like to change the settings for this car only. Is this possible?
https://documentation.beamng.com/tutorials/ai/ Use the AI control app, you could increase risk or route speed
Thank you all for your replies, I finally found the best way to do it (for me): I developed a mod that activates fast and aggressive traffic (160 km/h and 0.8) when you press a key, very convenient. --- Post updated --- I like Traffic App better, and what I did in my mod is exactly the same, except that you just have to press a key that apply your favorite settings.
I don't know how to do this. At this time my mod is unpacked, I would like to have it zipped first, but I get an error when I try to pack it in the game. Then I think it must be approved and I dont know how this is done. If someone can help em with this, I would be glad to post my mod.
so for example the mod is called traffic_mod. then make a folder, create a subfolder and put the mod in there: traffic_mod/mod/traffic_mod. then compress it to .zip. then you upload it as resource on the mods website. the devs take care of everything else.
I have just uploaded my first mod, name is Risky Traffic. I hope I did everything right, it is now in the approval process.
Great! Sorry couldnt answer your question. But you found it out yourself. Cant wait for it to be approved
Indeed, I found everything by myself. Thank you for pushing me, without you I wouldn't have published my mod. Can't wait for the approval
I see some mods have been released yesterday, but mine is still not approved. I don't know how much time it is supposed to take...
It is strange, if I search the mods for "risky", I see it but I can't download it, and I don't see it if I browse the mods. I guess it is because it has been published but it is not approved yet.
Its beacause you are the "owner" of the mod. It isnt ofc part of the repo yet, but you can see it so then you can change stuff like icon or smth.
I see. So if you search for it, you will not find anything, right? I am surprised because I thought about that and I browsed to the mod page in an incognito session, without being connected, and I found it. Please search "risky" on the site and let me know.
Same for me. I understand it makes no difference if you're not the author, it is just that it is not released because not approved yet. Thanks for your help
