Update Speculation thread

At first I thought of a heavy duty forklift (because of the teaser where the school bus gets moved), but you're right it looks too thick, now I'm thinking it's a bucket from some backhoe: think about it, how will you load the haul truck? There has to be another vehicle (or at least tool) to load the rocks in it, and it's not going to be the log grabber

 

I don't know myself, I saw many people write it like that, and just did the same thing. You have a good point.

 

Wheel loaders can have both log grapplers for picking up logs, buckets for picking up dirt and other materials, and also forks for moving pallets and even cars. Backhoes don't really get used in the mining industry as much as wheel loaders, as they are more suited to construction and generally pretty small all things considered.

Yep! In fact, we need all kinds of Kei cars! The small boxes on wheels, the miniature sports cars, even a mini dump bed truck, like those the EPA says can't imported in the US due to "safety issues"!

If they add another North American map it has to be Canada or Mexico for some variety. Basically your midwest is just Saskatchewan, Manitoba and a little bit of Alberta. Its all just flat. Its so flat I use the Google Maps HDRIs for skyboxes because the horizon is so uninterrupted .

 

For a new map, I would like to have a snowy map, very cold (around -25° Celsius) with some mountains and very long ice roads.

Why ? We can see that the Cover featured in the merch teaser / ad have a California license plate. If the Covet was spawned on the Italy map , the plate would've been the Euro style

 

Alpen would be cool for cruising too.

 

And for realism, they would need to add a lot of potholes. A LOT of them haha

It could be Small Island, USA, because it also uses California plates, and it would make sense if Small Island would get some attention as WCUSA got a lot in recent updates, while Small Island didn’t really.
