Is there any way to make it so that there's a slight more delay to the camera following the steering movements? Like in No Hesi.
Thanks! i cant play no hesi in my potato pc so this would be great. --- Post updated --- You can add the delay to the configuration GUI so people can turn it on/off and set the delay.
Hello, just wanted to follow up on this. I have identified a potential performance issue that may solve your fps issue when using Enhanced Interior Camera. My PC was a bit too high spec for me to spot the issue so it looked as if there was no difference to me. With the help of someone willing to test prerelease versions on their low-spec laptop, I was able to identify that the performance problems were caused by the shaking effects. These shaking effects used perlin noise which seems to be a bit heavy on slower CPUs. To solve it, I created a LUT so that the perlin noise is precomputed when the settings change. This resulted in much better performance for that laptop. The fix is in version 2.7 which should be released today or tomorrow when BeamNG approves it.
Hi, I wanted to ask about the creator of the enhanced driver mod. My goal is to achieve a fully fixed driver camera that strictly follows the chassis’ pitch and roll without any horizon lock or world lock. Essentially, I want the camera to move exactly with the car, with no added motion effects. Because now you have in original driver view the option to lock the camera to the horizon or lock the roll and pitch to the horizon and that's both wrong it should be locked to the vehicle chassis then the world moving around you is the rerfence of motion like it should. So far, I’ve made some progress with my own modified driver.lua file. With it, I can get the camera to behave as I want—but only with my E36 mod. The problem is that it doesn’t work properly on other cars. The main advantage of this fully fixed camera in a simulation like BeamNG is a much more realistic and precise driving experience, especially for users with direct-drive steering wheels. It allows you to feel the car’s dynamics directly without artificial smoothing or exaggerated motion, which makes controlling the vehicle more accurate and immersive. Could you advise if there’s a way to achieve this fully fixed behavior across all cars, or what adjustments might be needed? Here is a video how smooth it looks on my E36 mod now before this change everthing was feeling squared now the car rotates. Link: Thanks a lot!
