i just now tried it and everything seems fine and its not switching light colors or anything but there seems to be no input on this at all it does not even show up in hardware. what seems to be the problem?
Please give us a self-centering function for the wheel loader's steering (Hirochi WL-40). Driving it with keyboard or steering wheel both is a pain in the a**. Driving in a straight line is extremely hard above 10 kph. Also, most real wheel loaders do have a steering wheel aswell because of this exact reason.
Oh its hard on controller as well but I feel like its just something we'll have to learn with practice lol. Since its how they work in real life its just something to get used to
If the articulated steering was more gradual, i.e. proportional to joystick pull, it would be easier to steer for sure.
On Troubleshooting page of this forum there is banner which is titled as Bug Reporting, on that banner there is link to known issues thread of 0.37 version of the game, that might need updating so that it says 0.38 version instead.
Hi devs! Thanks for the update! The performance got much better, now I have better frame rate on better graphics. That works including AI races, traffic and Career mode. AI feels like it got a bit more competitive, the new vehicles are fun and the quarry is amazing. Really good job! I also appreciate all the work on the PS5 controller. The feedback allows to catch wheel spin or slide faster and the LED helps with the gear shifting. It's satisfying to feel ABS work on the brake lever. BTW, what does throttle lever feedback mean? The Freeroam selection menu is also a big step forward. Thanks! Speaking of the downsides, the Career mode still feels unbalanced and frustrating including the new precision parking feature. - I got more Beam bucks and experience points for parking than I do for the delivery itself. I reached the maximum Cargo Delivery level within half an hour earning just couple thousand bucks. - The delivery tariffs are so low that they don't allow to earn for a bigger truck just doing deliveries. It's easier to win couple races than to earn same money delivering. Industrial parcels are paid just slightly better and they are barely available, so it doesn't make much sense to buy big trucks although it would be a nice career goal. Same for trailer deliveries, especially the big ones. T-series or Segra cost a little fortune, comparable to Scintilla, and those 200-400 bucks for pulling a 20T trailer with high error cost across the map feels like a joke. Thankfully, we've got RLS career overhaul that offers better cost balance, but it would be great to have it in the vanilla career mode as well. - Speaking of the earnings, it's funny that the milestones I collect doing deliveries again bring more money than the deliveries themselves. I'm not sure that's how it should work. - Event/action menu enter is a step forward, it's easier now to enter the correct one, but there's still some room for improvement. My biggest pain is that handbrake is on the same button that closes the whatever-it-is-called to enter the menu. Especially it hurts when combined with the precision parking when I need to stop at the exact spot and pull the handbrake there but menu suggestion has already appeared and pulling the brake closes it. - It's a matter of personal preference, but I liked the old version of Creer Paths menu more. It supported L1/R1 navigation and the new one only supports arrows. - Milestone notification dot still does not disappear after all the awards have been collected, I need to enter the milestones once again to mute it. - Unclaimed milestone(s) notification dot now appears on both Milestones and Career Paths menu buttons. Edit: mentioned one more positive thing
werid problem. After completing a scenario where you take the large dump truck with 2 marble stoles and choose to remain there and freeroam. the game takes over a minute to load. I gave up after 1 minute assuming something is prevening it. Can someone confirm it's taking too long or what's happening? Involvest the Italy Map, new Quarry location.
Articulated wheel loaders of this size class typically have joystick steering, and a quick look on Facebook seems to show that most operators prefer joystick steering when they are loading trucks (less fatigue due to the smaller movements required, and less need for the precision of a wheel). If you're having trouble steering, try driving the wheel loader from the cockpit. I found that significantly helped with steering, since you can effectively see where you're pointing the front end.
Am I losing my mind cause I feel like it 100 percent is already. I don’t have any problems on an Xbox controller. Just need a little finesse. Like someone else said, get in the cockpit and see. Maybe your controller input settings are different than mine?
There is a problem with delivering trailers and cargo to Hotrolled at the same time. It's an old problem but I just rediscovered it again yesterday. If the drop off spot for both is the same then it rewards the delivery and drop off, despawns the trailer, but leaves the drop off notification in the to do list. This could easily be solved by changing the trailer drop off location so that it is separate to the cargo location to force you to make two separate drops. There is also still the fluids instability at Spearleaf Pier when you try to drop off. Either your tanker explodes or the game detects the instability and freezes.
Really? I didn't know companies could license literal design. I mean if the car looks similar enough to its irl counterpart then that's understandable. But the devs always create their own designs, they got a literal team just for that!
When lifting marble, it often gets stuck in the wheel loader... I think the broken part node is probably getting sucked in
I'm also having trouble with my DualShock 4 controller. I've disabled Steam Input, but I can't get the game to detect my controller, at least not over Bluetooth. It doesn't connect when running the game in safe mode either.
Holy shit, you awesome mofos!!!!! With 0.38, i tried several garage to garage missions on maps like american road refresh or tokyo Shuto Express, and each time i have an infinite load screen.
been enjoying driving around the new machinery in the g2g quarry scenario still gotta figure out how to properly drive the loader lol really like the destructibility of em too, reminds me of a certain 8x8 truck mod...
Not sure if this has been happening since before 0.38, but this is the first time im noticing it so i feel it might be to do with the new UI. Basically when starting up bus missions now, you are no longer able to select any modded vehicles, it only allows you to select the vanilla Wenward even when all filters are applied. You are still able to select modded maps however.
using an old flight sim joystick to control the bucket on the loader is much easier than using a controller with nonstandard modifiers
Heyo, are we gonna get an option to disable lightbar / player led control for dualsense/dualshock controllers?
