can i run beamng?
if so, which version?

i have 2gb of laptop vram, that thing somehow runs 720p lowest-ish at around 20~fps on gridmap
he has 64mb with drivers that are over 10 years old. the game probably wont be able to boot up.

Try to launch BeamNG with an unsupported DirectX API first

The real issue isn't the VRAM or drivers, this iGPU only supports DirectX 10, so BeamNG won't launch at all. He would need to downgrade to the last DX10 supported version which is the 0.14 in Steam beta branches, but then I'm not sure a Core Duo will run the game properly.

 

I had similar PC, you can run it but you won't launch Italy map and on WCUSA it will get around 15-22fps

 

Not so similar, yours can launch the game. His PC can't run it at all.
