Welcome to the Aquila F20 Development Thread! The Aquila F20 is a French Formula 1 car that competed during the 2000 Beam F1 season, securing multiple race victories along the way. Inspired by the legendary Ferrari F2000, the Aquila F20 is built with performance in mind. It features a fully custom made JBeam and a complete, scratch built 3D model. Aggressive looks, track focused aerodynamics, and most importantly a screaming 3.0L V10 engine define this car. Its only purpose? Set blistering lap times on any circuit. This mod is being developed by me in collaboration with another developer. Massive thanks to MarkThePumpkin , our JBeam artist, for his hard work and dedication to the project. Please do not contact or bother him unnecessarily, and especially do not ask him for the mod. That should go without saying. The mod is still in active development and will feature both a free demo version and a paid full version. The demo will allow everyone to experience the car, while the paid version will include additional body parts and extra liveries. There is no confirmed release date yet, but one thing is certain, the Aquila F20 will be finished. Stay tuned for updates!
YE YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES (i have been waiting for someone to make this kind of mod since the only good and up to date formula mod is the Carbonworks F4 made by LucasBE) this looks very good, but how will you make the sounds for it?
How much would the paid version possibly be? --- Post updated --- And I'd be happy as long as the free version would have a variety of skins along with the demo config
On the contrary, I find paid mods much better than free ones. They are often of higher quality, and it rewards the creator. Because creating a car mod in BeamNG takes many months. So my mod will have a free version with 2 or 3 liveries and only one body style, but as a bonus, people will be able to buy the complete version with additional body parts and liveries. --- Post updated --- Regarding the price, I haven't yet discussed it with my friend who makes the Jbeam.
I have to admit, when you see an F1 car being developed its like "okay" but then you see its from the F1 Golden age of V10 POWERRRRR, thats when you had my attention! I cant wait to hear that high pitched scream of a V10 engine once more!
Looks very nice, also if you want to say what kind of skins/liveries are u planning to add like lore friendly or close to irl liveries?
